WCF with .net 2.0

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 17, 2010    Points: 0   Category :WCF
I need to write WCF service and consume it in winform 2.0. I read a few posts but things are not very clear. I know that exposing the end points as basicHttpBinding, it can be consumed in .net 2.0. following link shows how to do it (and it worked for me) http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/wcf/thread/1eb72831-babe-49df-bb43-07b47e0f6ea2 What I want to know is if there is a better way to do it. In the above link, the following is performed 1 - Create Service and have a basicHttpBinding end point. 2 - Host it (and leave it running) 3 - Create metadata using svcutil (that will also create wsdl files) 4 - Create client using wsdl.exe Thanks Sheraz Khan
