Microsoft Office Visio 2003 introduces a new drawing component that allows you to embed an interactive drawing surface into your application's user interface. You can drive the Visio drawing component from events in your host application or with data from a Web Service and an ADO.NET data adapter. The Visio drawing component supports the rich Visio application programming model, giving you control over how graphics are used and displayed on the drawing surface. This article explains how to embed the Visio drawing component into a C#-based Windows Forms client app that retrieves data from the Fabrikam 2.0 Web Service.

As of this morning, we've started to receive reports that users can't load PowerPoint presentations in MS Office Web Apps. In all standard browsers (IE, FFox, Chrome), the load fails with an unexpetected error.
There have been no system changes for several weeks now -- wondering what went wrong? Any ideas of how to fix? Reinstall... er... web apps?!? We're totally baffled, and bummed that such a helpful piece of functionality went ... erm... poof!
p.s. Viewing MS Word Documents still works - thankfully!

After installing and deploying office web apps on an existing sharepoint 2010 farm, I'm facing an issue with PowerPoint web App.
Namely when I try yo open a presentation in browser, after maybe 30sec I get the following message : "Network connectivity has been lost. Check your network connection or try again later.". I looked into the SharePoint logs and I found multiple iterations
of the following record :

More interesting I found the following entry Windows Application Log:

I have installed a SharePoint Foundation 2010 in a Farm environment and installed Office Web Apps 2010. I have not been able to view Word documents or PowerPoint documents inside of the web browser. I can view Excel documents okay and I can edit a Word doc
in the browser.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the problem?
