If i use custom master pages. For some reason a user cannot view the thumbnail or filmstrip view; only the details view will display. No errors are thrown when a user selects the filmstrip or thumbnail view, in fact nothing happens at all.
If the master page for the site is changed to default.master then the picture library functionality returns.
Anyone can help me in this. Thanks in advance.
In SharePoint 2007 we did not use the Profile Pictures, but would like to start using them. At the time, a consultant set up a separate picture library for the employee photos that was managed by the HR department. Is it possible to somehow map
the Profile Picture property to the images in this library? Or do we have to upload them to each user's profile? Our AD administrators do not know how to set AD up to use the URLs, so coming at it from that angle was a dead end.
We have a MOSS 2007 publishing portal. We are currently facing issues with Picture library created with default picture library template.Whenever we have tried to upload an image to the picture library I am getting "acess denied" error message, though I
have full permission to the site level as well as to the library level.I have seen the pictures are getting uploaded and in "checked out" state. It does not show the "edit properties" page on upload and does not even allow the owner of the image to edit the
properties, gives the same access denied error message.
I have also tried to check in the image files through the "management and content structure", but the images are not getting checked in. Please let me know the root cause of this and how we can resolve this.
The following error occurred within a SharePoint 2010 document library:
As I tried to test out the new SharePoint 2010 environment I changed the metadata from a few documents within a document library. I noticed that the data from the currency und number field was incorrect from a few documents. The numbers
looked like that the decimal separator were ignored. For an example: 123.456,78 was saved as 12.345.678.
At first I thought it could be a language incompabilty but if that would be the case: Why would there be other documents which show the correct number?
I created another document library to recreate this error. And there I noticed the real reason: Every time I changed these fields from a document which was saved in the office 2007 format the error occurred. The metadata from the documents
in the office 2003 format were correct.
Has anyone a similar problem or got an idea how to solve this problem?
