Hi all,I've got this problem.me and my team have developed a lot of reports by using a SSRS configured in Sharepoint Integration Mode.For accessing these report we are using the Sql Server 2008 Report Viewer Webpart.One of its parameter is the Report ur that is an absolute url so the problem is when I move our solution from server1 to server2 I have to re-editing all pages where I've added the Report Viewer webpart for updating the report url with the new servername otherwise it's impossible to view the report.Is there any official or unofficial way to solve this problem ?many thanks

JavaScript Error while calling a drill through report in a report viewer from a asp.net web page.

I am calling a report in a web page which is getting displayed in report viewer. This report comes fine but when I click on it to see the drill through report for this parent report the drill through report does not get displayed and I see a JScript error instead.

The error I get is something like,

parent.document.GetElementByID(...).ClientController is not null or not an object

The aspx page that contains the report viewer inherits from a master page that contains an Update Panel.

I tested the report separately in SSRS and the drill through is working fine there.

Can some one please provide any inputs on this one?

Report Viewer 10 / "Not a trusted assembly" error

We updated our application to VS2010 / .NET 4.0. We are using the WinForms Report Viewer control to display .rdlc files. Some of the files reference framework DLLs (System.Core, System.Drawing, System.Xml)

*If* I use the deprecated methods, everything works.

Set the CAS policy to legacy in the app.config:

<NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy enabled="true" />

Trust the assembly:

_reportViewer.LocalReport.AddTrustedCodeModuleInCurrentAppDomain("System.Drawing, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a");

HOWEVER: I would like to not depend on the deprecated method. If I do this, instead:

            PermissionSet permissions = new PermissionSet(PermissionState.None);

            permissions.AddPermission(new FileIOPermission(PermissionState.Unrestricted));

            permissions.AddPermission(new SecurityPermission(SecurityPermissionFlag.Execution));

            Assembly asmSystemDrawing = Assembly.Load("System.Drawing, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=

Report Viewer/Explorer webpart for SSRS Native Mode

I have created a simple report with BIDS and have deployed to my SSRS server. Works fine... when I use the Report Viewer/Explorer webparts it works fine only on my PC. Really only displays on my computer. When others access the page the webpart does not load... it states "Navigation to the webpage has been cancelled." I have added all necessary permission to the report. the report displays if users access it directly from the report server, just not when viewing from the Sharepoint site. I even logged into another computer with my domain credentials and it did not work only on my computer that i used to create/deploy the report with BIDS...

any help would be great I'm stumped....

Report viewer webpart in sharepoint 2010 foundation with Reporting server in native mode, possible?

We have a product on sharepoint 2010 whose major feature is with the reporting services, we are checking to see if our product can be deployed in a minimum environment of sharepoint 2010 foundation.
we have a minimal test environment with the following :

windows server 2008 R2
SQL Server Express Advanced
Reporting services configured in Native Mode
Sharepoint 2010 Foundation.

I would like to know if we can enable report viewer webpart on sharepoint foundation 2010 with the reporting services in native mode. our plan is that even if the reporting services are not in sharepoint integrated mode, we are thinking of using web services to get XML data and using the XML data in report builder 3.0 to generate reports? will the idea work in this environment? if so can anyone let us know how to get the report viewer web parts in this environment?

Thanks for any help,

- Asif
