crystal report -visual studio 2008 dual axis chart (bar & line)

dear all,

i use crystal report integrated with  vs.2008, and i want to make chart with dual axis (bar & line).

i have used bar chart and input the data with 2 values..

then in chart options > template, i activated the dual axis..

my question is, how i can change the 2nd value with line chart not bar chart??

i'd tried to find the right settings in "chart options" but still can't find the solution.

for information in "chart options" there are 4 sub menu : template, general,titles,grid..

i read in a tutorial there's more sub menu called "series" in crystal report (stand alone version)..

is it possible doing it in Crystal Report VS. 2008?

please,, i need your advice and solution..

Thanx before..

Scale: Real-World Load Testing Tips to Avoid Bottlenecks When Your Web App Goes Live

Load testing should be part and parcel of every Web development effort, and it should be performed early in the process. However, if you think you can load test using your development environment, you're going to have some surprises when you go live. In this article, the authors outline the process of planning your load testing effort, considering which machines to use, how many users to simulate, which tools are right for you, and how to interpret your results.

Chart X axis is in Time

My application work in this ways. I got a database collect data from 20 sensors. Database holds Temperature and DateTime data/Records from sensors. So i would like to make it whenever i view the chart, it will plot a line chart one by one according to the temperature and timestamp(DateTime). Which mean my X axis is a colleborate time on that particular date. Anyone did this before or advice ? Thanks.

I already design a in the way that the line chart will plot base on both dropdownlist, Sensor ID and Date. So it will work like whenever i select a Date or ID it will read the records from database table temperature.

Possible to truly "scale" a Windows Form?

Hi all! I'm trying to think of a way to truly "scale" a Windows Form. I don't just mean resize the form and rearrange the controls accordingly; I mean really "Honey I shrunk the form!" type of shrink, including all text and graphics, as if they had been drawn on a Graphics object with a scale transform less than 1. Aero does this when it shows a shrunken window preview icon... that's exactly what I want, except I want it to happen to the window itself as the user resizes it. I know WPF can do this, but I need a way that'll work on a standard Windows Form without rewriting or massively re-engineering the UI. Any creative ideas? Thanks in advance! :-D

Alternate lables are displayed along x axis in chart web part for column chart type

I am connecting this webpart to my custom list having two coulmn Title  (string) and Count (numeric) and using Column chart type i am displaying data in web part. Each column in chart represents one item in list and displyed along x axis, while y axis represents count. For more than 9 columns in column chart (i.e. more than 9 itmes in list) in chart web part only alternate lables are displyed along x axis. Any help in this will be appreciated.

Edit power point x axis and y axis values through asp.net

Hi,   I have a problem, in which I need to export the data in power point. The data will be a bar chart. I am using graph object to achieve this. The chart is getting imported but with default data and default x-axis and y-axis data. I want to customize the x-axis and y-axis data through my code behind. The graph and export of pptx are generating fine, but how do i customize the axis data.....I used the following link to achieve the chart.http://www.dotnetspider.com/forum/157867-Create-power-point-slide-charts-using-c-net.aspxAny help would be highly appreciated!!Regards,Satish

Choosing a Design Scale

I have a designer program with scale and translate transforms. What I want is a little scale/ruler that floats in the bottom left hand corner that shows the current scale. The problem is that I don't know how to pick a scale for my drawings. I have shapes on a canvas, and each edge of the shape is adorner with a measurment (currenlty in pixels). I know there is an inch and centimeter unit available in wpf. If that's the case, and most user want to design in feet or meters, should I start with the design surface already zoomed out so that they are designing in feet and inches? Or, should I convert between pixels and some design scale that is configured by the user? Then, are there some considerations I am missing, such as dots per inch and device independent pixels?

Chart scale problem

Hi, I am using SSRS 2008 and the chart I am using is looking perfect in Visual Studio Development Studio preview. When I deploy the report to the server and open the report in IE tha chart won't be displayed correct. The font and bars are to big and the chart doesn't fit into the chart area. That makes me grazy... Please help.

X-axis labels missing: SSRS 2005

Hi, I have a single line chart in a list, with hourly intervals on the X-axis. The generated report has a number of charts displayed, one for each group in the list. For some charts the X-axis labels depicting the hour are shown for all intervals. For others, I do not see the label for the first and last interval. The intervals are spaced out enough and there is no reason why SSRS may choose to not show a label because of a space constraint. Any idea why some labels along the x-axis are missing? Thanks, Yash

Chart Control 3.5 - X-axis Labels

I have a fairly basic line graph which is bound to a SQLDataSource control.  The graph displays perfectly, but I want the labels on the X-axis to display vertically rather than horizontally.I have used the following code to try and do this but it is having no effect:<AxisX Title="Patient Safety Submissions" IsLabelAutoFit="True">    <LabelStyle Angle="90" interval="1" /></AxisX>Can anyone help? Here is the complete code for my chart:<asp:Chart ID="chrtHHcompliance" runat="server" DataSourceID="sqlHHcompliance" Width="1000px">                    <Titles>                        <asp:Title Font="Microsoft Sans Serif, 12pt, style=Bold, Underline"                                    Name="Title1" Text="Hand Hygiene Weekly Percentage Compliance">                 &nbs

Using Freeware SharePoint Foundation 2010 with BLOB extender for large scale deployment project.

Hi Everyone, If I'd like to deploy SharePoint 2010 Foundation with Express DB (no SQL Server) what's the limitation ? and suppose i have implemented BLOB extender from freeware 3rd partyhttp://www.avepoint.com/sharepoint-storage-extender-docave/ does that means i can deploy more than 4 GB of data and it should perform faster since the SQL Express is not loaded with BLOB (document binaries). Can anyone clarify this matter please ? Thanks. /* Infrastructure Support Engineer */
