I've been reading around about session management in WCF and Silverlight 3 but didn't find exactly the answer to my question, so, here it is.
I want to develop a silverlight application that provides a booking procedure for a limited set of goods. As the user selects the good he/she wants to book, this should make a temporary reservation at server side to avoid that other users could ask for the
very same good on the very same date (at least as long as the first user is carrying the procedure along). In case the user terminates the procedure before confirming the booking, or in case the "session" times out or the browser gets closed, I need
to detect at server side this event to release the good for other potential users.
What would be the most reliable method to achieve this?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion/tip you will provide..
