I have recently started with a fresh install of SharePoint 2010 and so far I'm very impressed. We have had a specific requirement for a document review system. A user
would like to send documents out for review to a group of people. So far I have discovered the circulations, this allows us to setup a circulation, the limitation is that it does not email the recipients and it does not remind them. The other option
is to create a document library with a workflow to setup tasks for users, we can get this to email and subsequently remind users but if I send the task to a group it only creates one task (the first person who completes the task stop the workflow and we lose
the audit trail for all other users). It can be assigned to single users but for ease of maintenance I would like to send to a group so that end users can add people rather than editing the workflow every time a new user is required. In an ideal
world the circulation list would email the users and subsequently remind them via email to read the document. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?
Thanks for help.
