Encountering a strange situation here.... a little background.
We have 3 nodes.
Two servers are dedicated WFE's. Node 1 & Node 3. They are load balanced with a CSS.
One server is a dedicated indexer/crawler. Node 2.
We recently moved our database from a single server to a SQL cluster. We used the SQL Aliasing method as outlined here:
Everything works great, EXCEPT node3 seems to be out of synch. All existing sites are operating as expected. However, any new site collections I create only function on node1. If you hit node3 you recieve the following:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.0 Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2010 15:14:17 GMT Connection: close
It's like the site doesn't exist on node3. It doesn't matter if a new site collection is created in a new contentdb or an existing contentdb, it doesn't work on node3. On node1, new site collections are displayed as expected.
Here is what I have tried:
an IISreset on node3.
Initiated a full index.
Manually initiated a sync via stsadm
stsadm -listolddatabases is not listing any orphaned GUIds.
created a new contentdb.
flushed the c

What I've done so far.On SharePoint: - 1) I've created 1) Library for my Form-Template, 2) A Library for my Data Connection, and 3) A Library for my Form.On InfoPath I've: - 1) Defined my Data Connection Options, 2) Defined my Form Options, and promoted the appropriate meta-data, 3) Defined the necessary Submit Options. and 4) Published the Form-Template to the SharePoint Form-Template Library.Issue: On SharePoint, when I try to create a New Form from my Form-Template, I get the error shown above <Alert http://sharepointsite/>- "This featre requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later and a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible XML editor such as Microsoft Office InfoPath."Help.
Hi all, I installed microsoft sharepoint designer 2010. It was working perfectly up until yesterday when I opened my saved site, it gave me an error that said " The URL "http://computername/sitename
" is not contained within a microsoft sharepoint foundation. " Now I can't open any sharepoint site and it freaks me out. I tried repairing, unistalling and reinstalling but still i get the same message.
i installed Sharepoint Foundation 2010 on Windows SRV 2008R2 (Single Server installation. No Sharepoint Farm). After the installation I extended my WebAppPool in order to get the same page with port 443. I already troubleshooted some problems and now
everything is fine except this one. Here is a short overview about what has been done after the installation:
1. Deploy a single server with a built-in database (SharePoint Foundation 2010) (Technet =
2. Initial configuration (SharePoint Foundation 2010) (Technet =
3. Extend the Web Application (Uses Windows-classic authentication) (Technet =
4. Changed Central Admin Service Account, Changed MyWebAppPool Service Account, Changed Search Service Service Account + Crawle
