I've seen several posts regarding submitting to a list using and InfoPath form which I am successfully able to do in limited form. (only passing a basic date value) My environment: MOSS 2007 Enterprise w/SP2, InfoPath 2007, SPD 2007.
I'm basically trying to recreate a calendar form with the same data elements (and some additional ones for a specific business requirement) as the standard calendar newform.aspx form. (start time, end time broken down by date, hour, minute and All day event)
I need the form users to be able to select the date and if it is not an All day event...be able to select the hours and minutes just like on the newform.aspx. (date picker control for date and drop downs for hour and minute selection)
On submit I then need to create the list item with the appropriate data passed via a workflow.
My Start Time has a validation rule to not allow dates prior to the current date (and it can't blank) The End Time has a validation rule to not allow dates prior to what is specified as the Start Time value. (Also can't be blank) When I attempt to include
conditonal formatting to hide the hour and minute drop downs if 'All Day Event' is selected I get errors stating the fields can't be blank.
I also can't figure out how to pass the entire date/time values or the All Day Event to the list withou
We have a department with a calendar that has over 400,000 items. We're thinking it somehow got that big due to them linking with outlook. We've turned that off but the items are still in SharePoint in the calendar. This is causing a great
deal of blocking when that calendar is accessed (CAML queries). They take several minutes to run and block anyone from doing anything in SharePoint (like saving documents or even accessing SharePoint). We'd like to just delete the 400,00+ items
but I'm not sure what all tables are involved. I've found that the tables docs and UserData each have the 400,000+ records relating to the calendar in question. I don't want to simply delete the records from these tables only. Does anyone
know what I need to do to clear the calendar? Is there a way in SharePoint to just delete the whole calendar and it delete the records where needed and then add the calendar back (and it be empty)?
We have the following issue when using a calendar in a site that is based on a template.
We add a calendar to a blank site. This site we save as a template in the solution gallery.
We then create a new site based on a template. After creating a repeating item in the calendar list, the end date of the repeating item will be the end date of the repetition. So the new appointment is spread across 4 weeks for a repeating appointment that
repeats for 4 weeks.
If you connect the calendar to Outlook the appointments are displayed correct.
Does anybody have similar results and can confirm this is a bug?
