No "Site Actions" Menu Available in Sharepoint 2007

I installed Sharepoint Designer 2007 on my home pc. It does not have the "Site Actions" menu. I originally created my Web site (I upload files via FTP) using MS Frontpage. How do I change the theme created in MS Frontpage? Or, how do I find the "Site Actions" menu?

Any help will be appreciated.

Add "New Calendar" to the site actions menu in SharePoint 2010

I really like how SharePoint 2010 uses Silverlight to allow users to create a new Document Library from the Site Actions menu. I would like to alter the v4.master page and add a new menu item to the Site Actions menu that allows the user to create a new Calendar. How do I alter the code below to make a new menu item that will create an events list? <SharePoint:MenuItemTemplate runat="server" id="MenuItem_CreateDocLib" Text="<%$Resources:wss,siteactions_createdoclib%>" Description="<%$Resources:wss,siteactions_createdoclibdesc%>" ImageUrl="/_layouts/images/NewDocLibHH.png" MenuGroupId="200" Sequence="220" UseShortId="true" ClientOnClickScriptContainingPrefixedUrl="if (LaunchCreateHandler('DocLib')) { GoToPage('~site/_layouts/new.aspx?FeatureId={00bfea71-e717-4e80-aa17-d0c71b360101}&ListTemplate=101') }" PermissionsString="ManageLists" PermissionMode="Any" VisibilityFeatureId="00BFEA71-E717-4E80-AA17-D0C71B360101" />

I am a Site Administrator, but I do not see Site Settings or Edit Page menu from Site Actions

Hi, I have been using MOSS for over 2 years, but I have not even heard or seen this kind of situation. I am a Site Administrator, but I do not see Site Settings or Edit Page menu from Site Actions menu, and I typed in http://mysitecollection:portnumber/_layouts/settings.aspx to go to setting page manually and looked around there. I confirmed that I am the site administrator, but when I go to Advanced Permissions, I do not see any checkbox beside each users. So basically, I am a Site Administrator on the site, but I am really NOT! What is going on here!?

Is it possible to add a custom menu group to the Site Actions button?

I know I can use a Custom Action to add a new menu item to my Site Actions button .

Is it possible for me to add a new menu group to the Site Actions button? For example, like the OOB Site Settings menu group, which then extends out to offer additional items such as "Modify All Site Settings" etc.

SharePoint - Hide items in 'Site Actions' menu

I would like to hide a number of items currently listed in the 'Site Actions' menu of a publishing site I've created.

I've deployed a feature that adds a link to the 'Site Actions' menu that links to a custom application.

In this feature would I be able to also specify which 'Site Actions' items to hide?

Visitors still see "Site Actions" menu

When I log in as a visitors to a publising site, I don't see the "Site Actions" menu or the Browse tab at the top of the page. But when I go to a particular subsite, I see the "Site Actions" menu or the Browse tab. The thing is, it doesn't happen to any other subsites, but this one, is there anything I have to configure?

Thanks in advance.

MOSS 2007 - Add "Email Page to Friend" feature to Actions menu or to site master page.

My Communications Director would like us to add an "Email this Page to a Friend" type of feature to our SharePoint 2007 Intranet. They would ideally like to have this feature available on every page. But I was thinking that even if we could add this item to the List Actions menu it would suffice. Does anyone know of a webpart that will do this or can offer some custom code and instructions on how to make this happen?

need help in getting started with creating menu bar just like vistaprint has in their site!!

i want to implement a menu bar which will have options like, save, undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, delete, crop, resize, zoom, rotate, drag and drop elements within canvas. inshort, i want to implement a editor that will have all the options related to text and images like the ones mentioned above. i tried ckeditor but in my case as i want it like vistaprint it is not useful at all. So, decided to implement my own editor. But i was wondering where do i start for this?? is it possible to develop using asp.net + javascript? or sileverlight will be useful? or sharepoint?
