I'm developing a web-site, that uses SWFUpload for
multiple files upload to the server. Page, that uploades files, is
accessable only to registered user. Authentication is done via
web-forms (authentication mode="Forms" in Web.config). Flash uploades
files to special web page - upload.aspx. In IE everything works great,
but Flash player in non-IE browser (in Firefox, for example) does not
send any cookies to upload.aspx. Because of it no sesion and no
authentication information is available in this page.
I can pass
all the information, necessary for uploading, in GET-parameters, which
upload.aspx recieve. But this is a serious security hole and I don't
want to expose session information. I can pass session identifier in
GET-request. But the question is the following: how can I restore
session information from the session identifier? How can I make
HttpContext.Current.User point to currently logged in user in this case?
I want that images should be flashed one by one like in flash with some good effects.
But i don't want to achieve this using flash.
How can i achieve this without using flash?
plz rep asap
thanx and regards
I USED THIS CODE

<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="myFlashMovie.swf">
<PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high>
<PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>
<EMBED src="/support/flash/ts/documents/myFlashMovie.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF WIDTH="550" HEIGHT="400"
NAME="myMovieName" ALIGN="" TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"

I've got a bit of an issue with an ASP.Net application that I'm developing at work. The application holds preview videos for clients in Flash format (flv). These are streamed using a flash movie called "flowplayer".
We would like to let clients send links to people to view these files. The problem however is that we need to be able to secure these flash movies so that they cannot be viewed by just anyone.
Currently, the application creates a username and password and provides a link to a preview page. The person logs in and can see a list of the movies they have been given access to. The users must log in to see this list and to ultimately click through to play the movie.
The problem is that anyone can simply input the url of the flash preview file (ie http://www.oursite.com/previews/previewmovie.flv) to view the movie - without having to log in.
Would anyone have any ideas as to how to secure this setup? I was thinking about ASP.Net security (integrated with SQL Server) but that might be a bit overkill considering there are possibly hundreds of invites being generated a day.
I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks in advance as usual.
I have a flash swf file (no source) I'm trying to display. I have an AxWebBrowser control in a form and I call navigate and the swf displays. The problem is that I want the contents to expand fully to the size of the AxWebBrowser. If I
shrink the form, and subsequently the WebBrowser, the flash contents will scale downward but not upward. Any suggestions?
