Using Dynamic Property inside Html Helper with Razor fires an error

I have the following with Razor:

@Html.GoogleAjax(View.GoogleAjaxKey, new String[,] { { "jquery", "1.4.2" } })

And the I get a strange error:

  'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper<object>' has no applicable method named 'GoogleAjax' but appears to have an extension method by that name. Extension methods cannot be dynamically dispatched. Consider casting the dynamic arguments or calling the extension method without the extension method syntax.

What is strange is that it works fine using:

@Html.GoogleAjax("123", new String[,] { { "jquery", "1.4.2" } })

I tried the following code line:

And the key is displayed just fine so the problem is how I use the value of @View.GoogleAjaxKey into Html.GoogleAjax.

Do I need to change something on my Html Helper? Here it is:

    public static MvcHtmlString GoogleAjax(this HtmlHelper helper, String key, String[,] libraries) {

silverlight + WCF Service + Dynamic proxy(custom binding) + basic authentication on iis

hi all, I am having an issue with how to get windows identity in silverlight project. Below is my scenario: the silverlight application need to get data from server via WCF service, i used the way that built dynamic proxy at runtime and aslo used custombinding in this case. Now my application need to deploy on iis and chosen "basic authentication" as a authentication mode. Thus i have chosen authentication mode in WCF was " <security authenticationMode="UserNameOverTransport">". At the client side where kind of project is silverlight that i need have to dynamic proxy with custombinding. My question is: In basic authentication how can i get windows identity to set to chanelfactory.Credentials: _channelFactory = new ChannelFactory<TWebService>(this._binding, new EndpointAddress(_endpointAddress));            _channelFactory.Credentials.UserName = new UserNamePasswordClientCredential();            _channelFactory.Credentials.UserName.UserName = "username";            _channelFactory.Credentials.UserName.Password = "password"; actually, i do not want to use Windows a

Dynamic Gridview inside a Dynamic Gridview

If there's a better way to accomplish what I'm attempting I haven't found it yet. That being said, I have create a gridview like the one here, http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Adding-Dynamic-Rows-in-ASP.Net-GridView-Control-with-TextBoxes.aspx . And with some minor tweaking it working great for all my fields, checkboxes, etc. The issue is my last column is another gridview, and I'd like it to function the same. that is, a dynamic gridview inside of a dynamic gridview. I get that I have to create it initially with null values or it won't show up. I guess what I'm having trouble figuring out is instead of go will null data in the parent gridviews column, do I place my blank child gridview. Do I create and bind the child gridview first, or second. Generally just not sure. Also, as far as storing the data from the child gridview goes, will each one need it's own datatable? Thanks for any input, and if you have any suggestions on the whole idea please feel free to let me know ;-)

dynamic javascript of an .ascx control inside an updatepanel not changing on client between async po

I have a confusing state issue. I found a way around it, but I would like to know why this is happening. First of all, I am using .NET 3.5 and that can't change right now (an easy fix may be the fixed ID capabilities of .NET 4.0).

Type csType = this.GetType();
ClientScriptManager cs = Page.ClientScript;
string jScriptBlockName = "SignUpSignInNameAvailabilityScript";
if (!cs.IsClientScriptBlockRegistered(csType, jScriptBlockName))
{   //NOTE: verified code always enters this
    StringBuilder cstext2 = new StringBuilder();
    cstext2.Append("function GetSignUpSignInNameAvailabilityMessage() { var id = '"
          + CreateUserWizardStep1.ContentTemplateContainer.FindControl("iSignUpSignInNameAvailabilityMessage").ClientID
          + "'; alert(id); return id; }");
    cs.RegisterClientScriptBlock(csType, jScriptBlockName, cstext2.ToString(), true);

This code is in Page_Load of an ascx. The same control is drawn on two separate postbacks of an UpdatePanel in different places of the page thus giving them different client IDs. The code works correctly on the first refresh of web browser; but after UpdatePanel

I cannot add a dynamic table inside a Wiki or import a template.

Hello, I Have created a Wiki inside a Sharepoint 2007 site and have created five pages inside this Wiki.   Now I am trying to use a template but there is nowhere that I can import a template. Also, when I attempt to create a dynamic table on one of my Wiki pages, the dialog box which comes up only asks me for the number of columns and rows.  The 'SharePoint How To' book that I am using as an instruction guide is telling me that a dialog box should come up with several parameters, including number of columns, rows, height, depth and formatting - I'm not getting this dialog box.

So, I'm wondering if someone can tell me why:

(a) I can't get a dynamic table into the site where users can add rows and columns.

(b) I can't import a template into the Wiki so we can use a solution that works.

(c) My functionality is restricted. Do I need to be using SharePoint Designer to get this level of functionality?

I'd really appreciate any references which would help me solve this problem.

Thanks for your help.
