All collection sites seem to be missing on the "SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features" in Site COllection Feature. However, I have PowerPivot uninstalled and reinstalled. Not sure if this could be the reason for it.

If I try to create an Enterprise Wiki, I get the same thing:
One or more field types are not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete these fields.
I won't be able to create the wiki until I can get the SharePoint Server Publishing feature activated.
Any one have any ideas? the other 4 site collections are fine.
We turned on the Office SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure feature on our MOSS 2007 (after we already had sites created) to allow users to be able to use features like excel services and reporting which both require this be activated the Publishing
feature to be turned on, In order to do this you have to activate the Office SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure feature at I beleive the top level site, however when we activate this feature it changes the templates and navigation
for all the existing SharePoint sites in our collection.
Is there a way to turn this feature on with out impacting existing site sites? Or am I doing something wrong that is causing this to happen? Basically I need to know how I can activate this option (Office SharePoint Server
Publishing Infrastructure) to just specific sites but not all or turn it on so it does not impact all sites?
ErrorPublishing sites and features cannot be activated in the Central Administration Web Application. On my other site collection(s) I manage to activate this feature by using the "publishing template".In the logs of sharepoint ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN ), i see the following entries:

We have a Sharepoint 2007 site collection roughly 36 GB in size and have been having problems moving the site to a new server farm (Also 2007). We are trying the Sharepoint backup and restore method, but I understand that this method is not recommended
for sites over 5GB. Has anyone moved a site of this size and how did you do it?
We are running Sharepoint 2010 Foundation. I need to activate "Search Server Webparts" for which i first have to activate "Publisching Infrastructure Feature" but... i cannot find it in the 'Site Collection Administration Features" (or any other place...)
Is this feature available in Sharepoint 2010 Foundation?
when i opened my site am getting following error, but moss 2007 server is Licensed Verison.
As my solution requires the enterprise features I'm required to activate them. Right now I'm doing it manually through "site settings -> site collection features", but I want to do it automatically when activating an other part of my solution.
I've used PowerShell to see the difference for "Get-SPFeature -site myurl" before and after activating the enterprise feature by hand, but there're at least 10 site collection features being activated through this one click step.
Is there a list of features which are part of the SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection features or is there an easier way to activate them all at a time instead of doing it one by one programmatically.
A new site collection has been created and uses SharePoint 2010 team site template. How can you activate the publishing feature on it?
I have activated the publishing feature at site collection and site level but I still can edit pages etc without requiring check out and approval/publishing. There are probably settings I need to activate on other doc libraries but I wanted to know the best
practice for this scenario and how to configure it.
I am new to sharepoint here is my query. i am working on MOSS 2007, SQL server 2008
I want to move the sharepoint security groups, ACL(access control list), user groups all the security and permission related data to sql server 2008 from a particular site collection or subsite. After getting the data in to sql server we should be able to
update the users from sql server itself which should reflect in sharepoint sites.
I am facing this problem from last couple of days and I am not able to figure out the root cause or find some solution. When I try to access My Site. It gives "The evaluation version of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for this server has expired" error.
I tried creating different web application for my site, and created the root site collection by selecting MySite Host template. After site collection creation when tried accessing it ended up in same error. but when i tried creating site collection of different
template it worked. Only for My Site I am getting that error.
I have tried all options mentioned in the below URLs. still not able to resolve.
Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 include a new set of components called Application Services. These put a rich set of tools in a developer's bag for Office automation. We'll show you how to use Office OpenXML, Word Automation Services and SharePoint to build a simple application that merges separate status reports into a single document.

Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 provides great portal and search features and much more, and Ted Pattison puts them to good use here.

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.
(provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified).
Remote connections are connected, I am not 100% on the Instance name, (how would I go about checking this?)
Also I cannot access the link to SharedServices1 - Open Shared Services Admin site (not clickable), guess it's permissions but I seem to have full site permissions, I think I need SSP-Admin to make more edits to the Search, maybe this is related :s
Both Search Servers are runnig, I have tried everything I can think of to fix this and allow the Search Centre to work.
I am running Sharepoint 2007 on SQL Server 2008.
