Is there any way to programatically, per ssis packet, set different localeid properties?
I work with a BI projekt where we are converting from sqlserver2000(dts) to sqlserver2008(ssis). To our BI system we get a lot of flatfiles from different kinds of systems, mostly mainframe´s.
I live and work in sweden and my localeid is sweden(swedish).
Some of the files contain float values like 100.00000 but my flatfileconnection reads the value like 10000000.
half of a solution:
If I change the regional settings on the computer to handle decimalvalues as a "."(dot) instead of a ","(comma) then everything works fine.
When I am reading flatfiles for ssis packet 1 i would like to use "."(dot) to handle decimalvalues
Packet 2, which are running at the same time should use ","(comma) to handle decimalvalues.
Packet 3 ... and so on ...
Therefore, Is it possible to programatically change the handling of locales decimalvalues per package?
Hope someone has a clue?
ps. I cannot change the columns in tables or the format of the flatfiles.
