ÃÂ Is there a list of accessibility acts that SharePoint 2007 supports.ÃÂ For example the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005?
I have generated class using SPMetal.exe on site lets say http://Toplevelsite/subSite/Subsite/.
In this subsite pages library have item associate with three different content type.
Now i want to query which filter by content type using linq against Pages library how can i do that..
something like give me all items from Pages library which content type is "ABC".
Please guide me
Does sharepoint supports flash videos? Is it easy to show flash videos on the sharepoint sites? Can the end users directly upload flash vidoes in the document library and does it automatically picked by any web part?
We an issue with LINQ to SharePoint in creating entities class. Whenever i created the entities class using SPMetal, one or more columns are automatically created in RemoveColumnAttribute something as shown below.
public override string Status
throw new System.InvalidOperationException("Field WorkflowPRStatus was removed from content type.");
throw new System.InvalidOperationException("Field WorkflowPRStatus was removed from content type ");
Could anyone faced this issue and how to get rid of this Remove
Any suggestions are welcome.

I was looking to get more inside knowledge regarding each of the subject matter. I'm a little concerned that the LINQ DataContext.GetList method unnecessarily loads List data twice (once for the EntityList and then for the LINQ query) as opposed to
CAML doing it once directly from the list source via query. I also know that LINQ translates into CAML so shouldn't it work exactly the same as when performing a CAML statement with exception to the extra step needed for LINQ to be converted into CAML?
Are there any good resources someone can direct me to regarding my concerns here?
using (var dataContext = new MySharePointSite1L2spDataContext("http://localhost"))
var pages = dataContext.GetList<Page>("Pages");
Page page = new Page();
page.Title = "New Page";
page.Name = "Page.aspx";
page.Path = "/Pages";
So I have also noticed that using the SPMetal tool the CreatedBy(Author) and ModifiedBy(Editor) fields are missing from Entity Model generated by the SPMetal utility. So here is a nice post on manually adding them (http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2010/02/19/spmetal-missing-created-by-modified-by-fields.aspx), but
does anyone know if this is going to be fixed in the future or if there is a reason why they are not generated?
