I have a check box in a template field in a gridview.
Based on some condition, I want those check boxs to be enable and disable.
I am trying the below code but does working..
protected void GVstudents_RowDataBound(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow)
string studentID = GVstudents.DataKeys.Value.ToString();
int stdID = Convert.ToInt32(studentID);
int schID = profile.getSchoolIDByStudentID(stdID);
int tchrID = profile.getTeacherIDByStudentID(stdID);
if (patti.chkIsTeacherPaid(stdID, schID, tchrID))
CheckBox cb = (CheckBox)e.Row.FindControl("chkTeacherPayment");
cb.Enabled = false;
cb.Checked = true;
Users are receiving errors when trying to check in documents.
"The Web server is busy. Try again later."
"This document was checked out to your local drafts folder but the local copy could not be checked in to the site. Close any application that is editing the document and try to check in again, or discard the checkout."
"There is a problem with the Web server. Try again later, or contact the server administrator."
Workstation has office 2007, upgraded from 2003. Documents are being checked out, edited, and checked in properly. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
how could i enable check in check out functionality for a custom list? I know this exists for document libraries, but isnt this possible for custom lists?
I am trying to disable "Colleagues on My Site" policy, under the Shared
Services Administration. But when I try to disable it it is not editable.
I can click edit but then enable is set and it is grayed out.
Ideally, I would like for users viewing items in document libraries to not have the option to check out a document. I have done some research, and I am aware of how to hide/disable the corresponding buttons in the ribbon. However, the option to check out
still exists in the contextual drop-down menu when a document is selected.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your time.
Edit: Here is a link to how I am removing the ribbon buttons, I will continue with this and then go from there.
Update: I was able to remove the buttons from the ribbon successfully, But when I open the drop-down menu for a document I still have the option to check-out. Any way of removing
Hi my sharepoint site automatically logout after 20 minutes of inactivity. How would I stop this? I want to extend it for 30days. I turned off Web Page Security Validation of Web application general settings (SharePoint Web Application Management category)in the sharepoint central administration . But still I get the issue.
Please somebody help me on this
I have MOSS 2007 running on Windows 2008 server. I'm getting the following error when trying to crawl content. "Access is denied. Check that the Default Content Access Account has access to this content, or add a crawl rule to crawl this content."
I have tried everything to correct this, and i'm about ready to pull my hair out.
