I'm having an issue implementing shared scope web parts personalization. Our requirement is to allow all users in the system to have full controll of the page layout and the ability to add controls as needed. It's my understanding that
this will only work if the user is properly authenticated via windows. Personalization works when I navigate to the page using VS debugger. When the site is run off IIS and I browse to the page using
http://localhost/ the only visible option in design mode is browse (in IIS the site is set to authenticate with an anonymous user account). What is the proper way to give all users the ability to access web parts without having
them authenticate through windows? If this is not possible what are my options?
