SQL Server 2005 SP3 32bit serverConnecting to an Oracle 10g serverLoaded OracleClient 10g I'm able to ping the Oracle Server, and ODBC connect and able to run an open query with a single remote user id.Issue: When I use the security context "Be made using this security context" it connects. When I choose the "Not Be Made" WITH THE SAME USER ID & PASSWORD, I get the mapping error.
i am using create user wizard and capturing other information within content template when a new user
registers. Some of the textboxes are binded to required field validators.
there is a validation control on the page and ShowMessage box is True.
If they dont complete some of the text boxes then the message box pops Up with the error message.
It does not however include information errors like "User already exists" or Email address already exists
from the create user wizard membership UserName and Password Textboxes
is it possilbe to hook all of these up so I get one message box with all errors including membership ones?

I would appreciate help with the following issue:
I have created a local group in our SQL 2008 server and added two Windows user accounts "DOMAIN\UserName"
I then added the local group to the database and granted read only access.
The users are trying to link tables using MS Access using and ODBC connection and getting the following error.
Users are not system administrators.

have tried installing SQL Server 2008 multiple times on my machine, and
I always receive this error about 3/4 of the way through: '' is not a valid login or you do not have permission.I
have tried installing both SQL Server 2008 Express with Tools and SQL
Server 2008 with Advanced Services, and they both fail the same way. I
am trying to do a new stand-alone installation.I'm running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.Looking
into the error, some forums say I have to install it from THE
Administrator account, and not an account with administrator
permissions; it also cannot be in Safe Mode, because then the Windows
Installer won't work. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to login to
the Administrator account. I can go to the home login screen, do
ctrl+alt+del twice, and attempt to login to the Administrator account,
but I receive this error: Unable to Log You on because of an Account Restriction.Other
forums say that in the Server Configuration section, all you have to do
is provide the username and a strong password from an administrative
account on the computer, and it doesn't have to be THE Administrator.
Well, I did that, but for some reason it doesn't recognize my username
I have Client - Server system where client is MS access 2007 and server database is SQL server 2008. Conversion happened recently from MS Access 2003 and SQL Server 2005. User suddenly experiences these kind of error which they never encountered. Please

MS Access uses ADO connectivity to connect to SQL server 2008.
Connectionstring the application uses is,
I have two databases xxx and yyy.
I added a new user to xxx named as "Admin". It ownes some schemas.
Afterwards I added a new user to yyy named as "Admin". It ownes the same schemas.
Then I pressed ok button, got the error:" The login already has an account under a different user name. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 15063)".
Could you please give me some advice?
I'm trying to setup SSRS using the Reporting Services Configuration Manager. Everything seems to be working except the database creation. When I click on the Database (3rd option down) then Change Database I run through the wizard. Put
in proper SA credentials. Accept the defaults clicking next through and when it gets to running the script to create the data base I get the Error I pasted below. We do not have a G drive so I went into SSMS and changed the Default Database settings
to point to the F drive (where our other DBs reside) - I got that tip off of this forum but it didn't fix my issue. Any ideas what to try next? Do I need to stop and restart a service or something? Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Microsoft ODBC SQL Server Driver Named Piped No existe el servidor SQL Server o se ha denegado el acceso al mismo.
I have 2 network but the conectivity between both is total. The problem is when i create an ODBC conection in the network 161.0.0.x (Sql Server is in 192.168.0.x). Is important to note that ping to 192.168.0.177 (Sql Server) from 161.0.0.x work
What could be the problem?
