Is there a way to copy a folder from an FTP site listening on SSH connection using DOS batch files? I know that there are several third party tools out there that accomplish this. I am NOT looking for that solution. I tried this in Powershell, but could
not find a solution, and I am hoping a simple DOS batch file can handle this.
Any help would be appreciated...
This is my first time with SQL Server, so please forgive me if this is a ridiculous question:
I'm trying to create a DSN so I can connect up to SQL Server Express 2005 on my laptop/local machine. I'm attempting to connect via Windows NT authentication. I've tried 'Named Pipes' and TCP/IP settings but am not able to connect. I keep getting an error
SQL Server Error: 2
SQL Server Error: 17
SQL Server does not exist or access denied
Is the server created by just installing SQL Server 2005, or is there something additional I need to do? Any help would be much appreciated.
public partial class WebUserControl1 : System.Web.UI.UserControl
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
OleDbDataAdapter myCommand = null;
DataSet myDataSet = null;
DataTable dtExcelInfo = null;
if join remote table and local table, one execution plan is
1: fetch the data from remote, and then run the sql at local.
2: push the data to remote, and execute the sql on remote, and fetch the result back.
which one is better depends. Does sql server support to use hint to use plan 1 or plan 2?
Line 485: OleDbDataAdapter mydata = new OleDbDataAdapter("select * from [Sheet1$]", strconn);
Line 486: mydata.TableMappings.Add("Table", "ExcelTest");
Line 487: mydata.Fill(ds);
Line 489: StringBuilder strb = new StringBuilder();
As a single developer in a small business I'm developing a data-driven website on my local machine using VS2008 Professional (I also have 2010 Professional)
It is then synchronised with a dedicated server using Expression Web (ditto design)
I'm using SqlExpress both machines and as features are added, I want to synchronize the dedicated server schema from the local schema
VS2010 has such a feature, but it's a ____ of a price to pay for one feature - basically adding fields as I add functionality.
I'm surprised SqlServer doesn't have such a feature built in - am I missing something?
(I've trialled RedGate SqlCompare, but it can't access the remote db, and I'm reluctant to enable SqlServer Remote Connections on a machine I don't own).
I created a WCF service with several functions. I then created an asmx client for the WCF service and created a webmethod for each function in the WCF service. I hosted the asmx client website on IIS. When I browse the myService.asmx from the local machine,
and click on a webmethod it works fine, shows me a form where I can pass parameters and see results. When I browse from another machine in the local network as http://myservername/myService.asmx, it shows me the web methods, but when I click on any web method
I do not get the form to pass paramaters. Instead I get this message:
"The test form is only available for requests from the local machine.
The following is a sample SOAP 1.1 request and response.......
The following is a sample SOAP 1.2 request and response.........
Why am I not able to access the form from my local network? What needs to be done to be able to see that?
Hello I wrote a Class Library Program( DLL ) using VB.Net - It works fine in a 32 bit machine. But when it runs on a 64 bit machine(win 7) . Get this Error:
'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine." Trying to open an access file
I know this is a 64 bit problem and the solution is change the Target Platform to 32 bit instead of Any CPU , In Soluton Properites. But my application is not a windows Form applcaiton(when I built it it created Dll , Not exe ), therefore
the Target Plat form is not actiavated in the propeties Tab.
Anybody could help me here. My job continuation depends on this. I am base on a contract and now company is upgrading all machines to 64 and my Test program doesn't work. I already checked and have the latest version of Microsoft Jet. Thanks
