I cannot figure out a way in which I can accomplish this goal and am looking for other opinions / code snippets to push me in the right direction. I am making a program that manages products and have an XML file on a server that we update as needed and should
be reflected in the program upon loading it.
My problem is that the contents of the combo box will constantly be changing as the XML file is modified. I have the program set up so when lets say "Coffee" is selected in the combo box, the program displays a price of "2" in a textbox named "tbProductPrice"
and a stock of "5" in a textbox named "tbStock". When the combobox selection changes it will update the textboxes with the related values for that product.
If the combo box was static I would just use a large IF ELSEIF statement, but I am not sure how to have the related fields update on a per product basis. Does anyone have any ideas as to how this could be done?
My XML file currently looks like:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
