I have been trying to figure out this problem for a while now so hopefully someone can help me out - I would really appreciate it!
Right now I have SQl Server Management Studio2005 installed on my computer for a SQL sever that we have. We recently got a 2008 sql server and if I remotely access the server, I can see that SQL Management Studio 2008 has been isntalled on the new server.
I need to build new databases but need SQL Management Studio 2008 on my computer and I have no idea how to get it.
I have a "Microsoft SQl Server 2008 R2" folder on my computer, and I have already tried clicking on "Configuration Tools" and then "SQL Server Installation center" and it isntalls a bunch of things, but none of them are "SQL Server Management Studio
2008." I also found a link on a Microsoft website that says it's SQL Server Management studio 2008 R2 but it was just the same bunch of programs I already downloaded.
How do I install Sql Server Managment Studio 2008 on my computer?!
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
