Interesting error message with content organiser: Cannot resolve mailbox (null) to a valid user

Here is a site with content organiser site feature enabled, as well as the email integration feature. Emails are successfully delivered to the "Submitted Email Records" list, but is never routed to the Drop Off Library. (the content organiser web service works fine and the drop off library works as a custom send to destination and happily processes its rules. If I turn up the debug juice I get the error "Cannot resolve mailbox (null) to a valid user" for every item in any "Submitted Email Records" in the site collection. Area: Document managagement Category: Content organiser EventID: 8000 Message: Cannot resolve mailbox (null) to a valid user I have temporarily worked around the problem by email enabling the drop off library but it creates an intermittent race condition (similar to certain workflow and event receiver situations), so its not a real solution (and in fact I assume thats why the Submitted Email Records hidden list exists in the first place). I've run procmon, specifically focusing on OSWTIMER and nothing interesting shows up at all. The error message is intriguing and I can't really think of what it is trying to do. In troubleshooting I noted that this farm had configured inbound email but not outbound email. I have since rectified this and de/reactivated the content organiser features and reset the timer service and IIS, b

Related to Type Identifier in Object header

Hi , I have read some where that , every object created on CLR heap has Object Header and Object body. In case of c++ , we need to make destructor as virtual in case of polymorphism. Example c++ :-  class base {   virtual void Hello(): }; class Derived: base {   int *ptr;   Derived()  {     ptr=new int[10];   }   ~Derived()   {      delete ptr;    }    } This is not a compiled code. In this senario we need to make Derived class destructor as virtaul. Question is in case of CLR , we need  not make destructor as virtual. How does CLR takes care of this internally.

The multi-part identifier "deleted.DataEncryptionKeyID" could not be bound : trigger

Hello there, I created a trigger and I am trying to only do stuff if my inserted.column_name1 is different from my deleted.column_name1. How to resolve "Tag ... does not exist in XML namespace errors"

I am new to both Workflow and WPF and am writing my first IValueConverter in an attempt to properly handle an InArgument of "WorkOrderTypes" Enum type represented as a ComboBox in a custom CodeActivity's ActivityDesigner.   I have used an ObjectDataProvider to successfully populate the ComboBox's ItemsSource property, but am stuck at getting the binding working for the InArgument<WorkOrderTypes>.   I have looked around in this forum and elsewhere and have seen recommendations that i use an Converter class.  So I thought I'd give it a try. My Converter class is probably not coded correctly in this first cut, but I am unable to build the project to use the debugger to see the inputs and outputs to get it working because it won't build.   When I try to build it, there are no direct code syntax errors but I get the error: "The tag 'ComboBoxToWotArgConverter' does not exist in XML namespace 'clr-namespace:MyCo.Workflow.Activities;assembly=MyCo.Workflow.Activities.DemooActivityLibrary'".   The skeleton custom "CreateWorkOrder" CodeActivity, its "CreateWorkOrderDesigner", and the 'ComboBoxToWotArgConverter' classes are all in the same ActivityLibrary assembly MyCo.Workflow.Activities.DemooActivityLibrary".    The  public enum "WorkOrderTypes"&

How to resolve Shared Services Provider creation failure?

I would like to ask for support regarding this problem: SSP provisioning will be retried periodically. If you correct the error that caused this failure, provisioning will subsequently succeed. To stop provisioning from being retired, delete the SSP. I'm creating a New SSP & everytime I create, I received that message. I tried to reset the IIS already, restart the machine, but still I received that error after I create a new SSP. Wait for soonest advise!

Help resolve an issue for importing data

Hello All, What is the best way to get info from a directory on machine to import into SQL?  I basically need the file path and file size of a certain directory.  I tried using the command prompt and print to a text file, but I can't find a way to get JUST file path and file size.    I'm looking into some free software online like "Treesize" but I'm not sure that'll do it. I know I can do this prgrammatically, but I'm just curious to see if there is a faster way because I am dealing with large directories. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

MailMessage with identifier

I have a CRM application written in C# and have a customer who would like to create and send emails based on an activity record from the application. I know I can use the SmtpClient and MailMessage classes to send the email. The customer would also like to able to assign any replies back to the originating activity record so does anyone know if it's possible to send an email out with an identifier assigned that would be returned in the message reply?

sp_cmdShell fails to resolve remote server

Hello, I am trying to access a file on a remote server with sp_cmdshell and it fails to resoolve the server name.  A simple test is: 1) Running it with the server name "exec sp_cmdshell 'dir \\server\sharedFolder\file.txt'" fails with access denied. 2) Running it using the ip like "exec sp_cmdshell 'dir \\{server IP Address}\sharedFolder\file.txt'" works. I checked at the OS level remote server resolution and works: At a cmd window both "dir \\server\sharedFolder\file.txt'" and "dir \\{server IP Address}\sharedFolder\file.txt" works ok. So, the server is resolving names correctly, but fails within SQL. I'll appreciate any ideas. Carlos
