Form with Visual Studio 2008, and all of properties declared in the form inheritable is initialized in Designer Form. Same properties would not have to be in the Designer code. Somebody could help me? As to define some variable or propiedades that will not
be controlled for the code in the code inheritable. This variables, some variables store information of security of the application.

I have a problem in which some nested controls on a page are not updated in the designer file. I have deleted the designer file, selected Convert to Web Application, but still the controls are missing.
I know there is a supposed fix at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/webdevtools/archive/2010/03/05/hotfix-for-issue-with-auto-generated-designer-files-not-adding-controls.aspx
Unfortunately the patch won't install and I still have the issue.
Any thoughts? I am running VS 2010 Version 10.0.30319.1 RTMRel.
I have two major problems.
1. After dragged the control to form1 designer when im on form1 designer i dont see anything in the control only when i run my program. I thought ill some kind of preview or what i painted in the control ill see it on the form1 designer before i run my application.
2. On form1 when i manualy stretch the size of the new control on form1 designer to be bigger or smaller the things i painted dosent fit i thought the way i created the code in the control code it will keep its size arroding to the size changed ill do in
form1 designer but it dosent.
So here is the code of the control and form1 can someone help me with this two problems show me the correct code?
First the control code:
public partial class My_Diet_Graph_Control : UserControl
I am new in SharePoint Designer.
I like to create a web page with some VB code functions (I want to convert one web site that created by Visual Studio 2005 to SharePoint server with SharePoint Designer tool).
But I always get the error when I tried to copy the VB function from Viscao Sdeio 2005 to SharePoint Designer's page.
Can you help me on this or send some example to me?
I am using VS 2010 Ultimate. It is not remembering my setup when opening .xaml files. It is very annonying. I am pretty sure VS remembers things like that.
I prefer to load my .xaml file to see the code only. So I usually minimize the design tab. However, I have to do this every time I open a .xaml file.
I am getting the feeling this setting is stored at the .sln level, which is even more annonying, it should be global setting for all VS sessions.
I have a list, which has 2 columns created through the list. I used the SharePoint designer and added 3 asp.net controls to the page. I used the New from existing page, added the controls, saved the new page under the supporting files. When I click on the
New item through the site, I am able to the see the newly created controls.
How to use server side (code behind) for the newly created asp.net controls. I have added a dropdownlist and 2 textboxes. I do not want to write Inline code. I would like to use the SelectedIndexchange event for the dropdownlist and Ontextchange event for
How to create c# code behind files for the controls created in designer.
I'm using VS2010 Pro (SP1) on XP Pro SP3
Before I installed SP1 I could collapse XAML sections, this is very useful if you have some Ribbonbar XAML for example, you just have a comment saying what this section does and the collapsed code. It's not just useful it's a must really when you start doing
some serious interface work on LOB systems.
I did notice in the SP1 release notes they fixed some issues with collapsing code blocks.
Any ideas how I can turn on the feature after SP1 is installed ?
