ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ReportServerStorageException: An e

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 10, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server
Need some help in figuring out this issue. The report I am trying to run returns over 14 million records when I get a count directly from the SQL server but I get an error after the report runs for a while. Below is the error message. Does SSRS have a limitation on the number of records? When I look at the memory utilization, it was at 79% utilization. Below is the server setup. Am not sure what else I can do to resolve this. Error Handling: Throwing Custom Exception Types from a Managed COM+ Server Application

Exception handling semantics in .NET are based on type, so you can create custom exceptions that have their own properties and methods. In .NET, exceptions are first-class citizens, and since they're the built-in error handling mechanism, all .NET-compliant languages must support exceptions. In addition, COM+ services are available to .NET code as Enterprise Services, so you can leverage exceptions in your Enterprise Services design. In this article the author describes custom exceptions, throwing exceptions across COM interop boundaries, and working with Enterprise Services.
