I just reinstalled Sharepoint 2010 on a new environment, and I'm getting some fresh errors in my Event Viewer. This one is the most common occurring and I think is directly linked to two other errors involving PerformancePoint. The error looks
"Event 8305, SharePoint Foundation - Task Category: Claims Authentication
An exception occurred when trying to establish endpoint for context: The provided URI scheme 'http' is invalid; expected 'https'.
Parameter name: via."
I've looked up on google what it means, and it has something to do with the security token service, which coincidentally an error I have in my SharePoint Central Administration. I've exhausted Google but all roads lead to the same tech website from
Though this looks like an easy fix, the command it gives is an invalid syntax, and PowerShell gives me the common "The term 'Get-SPServicAapplicationPool' is not recognized....etc."
If anyone could shed some light on how to fix this error, I'd be very happy and thankful.
