I'd like to use HTTP_REFERER to be sure my goodies page is being called from Paypal after a successful transaction, and not by someone who just entered it into a browser. I was thinking of something likeIf Request.ServerVariables("HTTP_REFERER") <> [PayPal page] Then            'redirect to error page        Else            'allow page to proceed        End IfBut I'm seeing a blank in HTTP_REFERER and this from http://www.w3schools.com/asp/coll_servervariables.asp suggests why:            HTTP_REFERER returns a string containing the URL of the page that referred the request to the current page using an <a> tag. If the page is redirected, HTTP_REFERER is empty. So how can I tell who's redirecting to me?Thanks for any help.Steve

http_referer is completely missing!

I was having a problem and couldn't get a value in my http_referer but when I looped through the server variables the http_referer was missing and wasn't listed. I'm not running a firewall but I am using Norton Antivirus. I seem to be the only person having this issue where I work. My thought is that it is tied to the 4.0 framework. The server Windows 2003 with all the frameworks but this app was developed using VS2010 in the 4.0 framework. Any thoughts?
