I have a solution that contains a project that needs to be stored in gac. I have done this by using the post build commands:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin\gacutil.exe" -u "$(TargetName)"
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\bin\gacutil.exe" -i "$(TargetPath)"
Now my problem is that i have the same solution many times but with different versions. When ever i build a solution and i try to use the executable of the other one i get the exception "Method 'x' in type 'TargetName' from assembly 'TargetPath, ...' does
not have an implementation"
Is there a way to store in gac the dll with version through post build?
PS: if the first line of the command is remove the build of the project fails because the TargetPath is used by another process.
