Is there a way we can dynamically limit the data in a chart?
I have a table and chart to be displayed in a report. The table is to display all the rows. But the chart should be plotted for 1 group alone. Is this possible?
e.g., the dataset will have data for all states. But the chart should be displayed only for 1 state. Can this be achieved?
I m using Helpdesk template of sharepoint. I hve added few custom fields when we create new service request.
Can anybody help me here to find out where the data is stored? If its table in sql, then which table.
Any help would be appreciated
I have a line chart with date (X axis) for average numbers. I wanted to show only one number for the month at the chart or legend area. But i can show or hide whole data labels. Is it possible to have an expression box in chart area?
Thanks in advance,
Due to a bug found in using multi line text boxes that auto expand (after every 20th characters a line return is added) i have switch the control to be a calculated column. The value of the field is being looked up from a sharepoint list when the form is
loaded (so need need to edit).
The issue i have is that the data i am loading has line breaks and the calculated control ignores them. Is this meant to happen or is there a way i can get the control to render multi line. The height of my control is already set to be automatic.
Thanks in advance
This is the above code i have worked using querysing and displaying the listitem with in a simple html table. Here I am using foreach statement to bind items. How to bind the data to a simple html table using SharePoint linq without a single
line of loop.
public class QuerystringProgramWithoutLoop : WebPart

I have a bar chart where the data labels are centered? Is there a way to make all the data labels aligned at a specific location on all bars regardless of the number?
I know this contradicts of how statistical data is read, but it is a requirement that I have.
I have this procedure and table architecture - My ultimate moto is to check the User Start time and user end time and if user is logged in into 2 pcs at once then capturing the min start time and max end time . If user start time is greater than users previous
end time then creating a new entry into table.
Recently, I saw an article at:
However, when I turn on the Select and Update Commands for the gridview, I get the following behaviours:
- Select: Columns disappear, leaving the template column
- Update: Data was not updated to the database.
Please kindly assist.
Thank you in advance.

I am building a WPF application that has multiple resource dictionaries and data templates. I have my settings set to always open xaml in the source only view, and I have looked to see if I could find any other settings that would help my performance.
In visual studio 2010 the performance gets so bad I literally cannot work. If I type one letter, the letter shows up and then visual studio thinks for several minutes before letting me type another letter and repeating the cycle. It does seem
that rebooting my computer helps, but it gets bad quickly enough that rebooting too often isn't exactly a good solution.
Does anyone have any information that can make visual studio usable for working with my xaml?
I have an InfoPath 2010 form that has a field listing the amount of currency on a meter. It is a Decimal form in Infopath but publishes to SharePoint as a Single Line of Text. It will not let me modify the column in SharePoint and it will not let me
select the allow edit from the Publishing Wizard. I need the column as a currency so my Excel Queries work.
In a TabControl it can be helpful to setup a control template. Unfortunately this makes all tabs use this template. It is easy enough to override the template completely on any specific tab BUT one cannot partially reuse the control template tab. Is there
anyway to do this?
Basically I have several tabs with very similar layout and controls. I'd like to use this in a template then add the difference in the TabItem. I'd like to use the same controls that are common across all tabs(so any changes on one tab item will effect the
other tab items(of course it would be nice to have the option to have them distinct too).
Anyways, I have a feeling that wpf can't do this from what I've read but I don't see any reason why we can't "extent" a data template or even just "overlay" two of them so they look to the user like one. Hopefully I'm wrong?
