Issue Description : Keywords from certain folders in the Document Library is not searchable via full text search. For example, the keyword “4MB7106” is not searchable, even though the document is available in the document library. This is content search in a file in a document library, NOT a file name. Any ideas?

Hi experts,
I've read 1 article and already tested it, and it works for me to connect reporting services with SharePoint List
http://vspug.com/dwise/2007/11/28/connecting-sql-reporting-services-to-a-sharepoint-list-redux/
But my concern now with the same approach how can i connect to SharePoint Document Library (Shared Documents)
Scenario:
I've 1 shared document link, inside there we store all the pdf image that we scan. and each image created we define field/attribute at Edit Properties. Meaning we just not store the pdf image but also information input.
I've contact the owner of blog for long time but no response. Please advise Thanks in advanced.
Im using : SharePoint 2007, SQL 2005 & Visual Studio 2005
Hello,
I'm using MOSS 2007.
Perhaps you already know that the "Modified" column in SharePoint document library is different from the "Date Modified" property of the document.
"Modified" being the SQL property of the object.
As a consequence, when uploading document to document library you don't have the actual modified date of the document. While you can see it opening the document in Explorer View!!
Is there a way to display the actual modified date of documents as a column in SharePoint document library?
Thank you.
Regards
Ruben.
...also when Office documents are saved to document library they open as Read-only and cannot be saved back to the same document library.
This only happens in my production SharePoint 2007 environment from client XP and IE7 machine. It does not happen in developement environment (which mirrors production) from client XP/IE7 machines.
Save works fine to SharePoint document libraries from client Win 7 and IE8 machines in both production and development environments.
This only happens when attempting to save to a My Site Personal Documents document library. Any other document library this behavior does not exist from XP or Win 7 machine.
What settings controls ones ability to save to a personal My site document library. What setting could be different between prod and dev installations? It only happens
When a user, who uses Dragon NaturallySpeaking, says "new" when viewing a Document Library the default content type is selected and the associated application (e.g. Microsoft Word) is launched. This scenario is okay for Content Type selection since the Microsoft Office applications will prompt for the metadata once the file is saved. If the user needs to create new folders in the Document Library however they need to expand the "new" dropdown menu. What is the best way for someone using Dragon NaturallySpeaking to expand the "new" menu for a Document Library in SharePoint?
We will be implementing Document Search (DOC, DOCX, PDF, TIFF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX) for one of our customers. We were evaluating a few MOSS 2007 based solutions, and happened to visit your site. What we intend to achieve are the following functionalities:
a. User should be able to search through 1000s of documents which are in a Sharepoint Document Library
b. The documents could be in English, International Languages.
c. Each document is 70-100 pages, and therefore it is important that the Search Results show the relevant pages on which the Search Text appears (Get Highlighted) within each document . Clicking on the link will take the user to the right page.
d. The additional requirement is Synonym search. So, I can search for Search does not find text in Word document stored in document library on a Report Center site within Hello, We have a document library on a site created off of the Report Center site template. We uploaded a Word 2007 document with the word zebra in the text. Using the search bar at the top of the page we selected This list: Our document library and searched for zebra. We received no results. We tested the same thing on another site (site template Team site) within the same site collection and search worked fine.
