I have created a report in SSRS 2008 and have passed a parameter called Carrier to it. The report works fine on http://machinename/reports and am able to pass parameters to the report including the All Carriers parameter.
However I cannot get the report to run in PPS 2010. In PPS I have created a multi value filter called as Carrier and have passed this filter to this report. But when I execute this report I get the following error :
SQL Server Reporting Services
I have used the data type as string in SSRS.
I have created a report in SSRS and this report is integrated within a dashboard created using performance point services in sharepoint 2010.
The report is a simple tabular report with 5 coulmns and interactive sorting is enabled on each of them.
Sorting works when the report is viewed separately but gives "Report Server Error" when I try to sort (on any column) inside the dashboard.
I have user IP instead of host name in the report server url.
I have a SQL stored procedure that is a data source for the SSRS 2005 report. I use two servers with identical hardware, let’s call them Server1 and Server2.
When I run SP directly on the Server1(SQL 2005) and Server2(SQL 2005) within SQL Server Management Studio, SP runs for 10-11 seconds on each server. When I run my SSRS report that is using the procedure within BIDS or SharePoint sites (each server has its
own SharePoint site with supposedly identical setup), it runs for 20 seconds on Server1 SharePoint site and for about a minute on Server2 SharePoint site as wel as witin BIDS. There is no network traffic.
When I traced performance on both servers with SQL profiler while running report within BIDS or SharePoint, I didn’t notice anything unusual; it just takes
more time to process statements on Server2. I also tested several other reports and they all perform the same on both servers with maybe only a few seconds difference (Server1 is a bit faster). I suspect that SSRS for Server2 has a different setup as the performance

I upgraded our enterprise sql server 2008 to sql server 2008 r2 last weekend. Along with this i installed the report builder 3.0 on the servers as well and the updated ssrs add in for sharepoint. The upgrade went fine, no errors that i could
find. The problem is now when i go to a library that has the report builder content type enabled and click report builder report under new it does not load report builder 3.0.
I updated the custom report builder url in central administration from /_vti_bin/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.application to /_vti_bin/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder_3_0_0_0.application
however when i do click the new report builder report it kicks me over to
http://company.com/ReportServer_MossEnt which itemizes out each individual sharepoint site in the farm.
Is the integration of ssrs 2008 r2, sharepoint 2007 and report builder 3.0 work? did i install the wrong version of the report builder add in? The above is the only problem i am having now.
all servers are server 2008, 64 bit and moss 2007 enterprise with sp2 & april 2010 cu
I am running the report from SSRS report server in the view i am finding that the window title is Report Viewer - Windows Internet Explorer.
