infopath form stuck with installing or deleting

I am deploying an infopath form in central admin and it stuck with the message "installing" and if i try to remove it stuck with message 'deleting". I restarted timer as well admin jobs in all servers (front end and app) but it is still showing the same. I also renamed my form and tried..no result. Can any one suggest me how to resolve this? I am wondering how it s happening just from one week.there are no changes in servers as well in environment. It works well before.

Status "Installing" keeps stuck

Hi All..

I have a problem about status that is stucked.. I've read many forums that related to my problem, but still can't solved it yet :(

Here is my problem...

After 3 months I keep on uploading, removing, and uploading form, I have no problem.. Until today, when I want to upload my form, the status keeps on "Installing", instead of "Ready".
Then I removed my form using Timer Job Definitions, and I delete form.wsp. It works.
Afterwards, I try to upload form again, I have the same problem with stuck status. And then I delete again using same way.
I've tried more than 10 times, and the result still the same one.

Things that I've tried are:
- Reset IIS.
- Reset Application Pool.
- Check the services (e.g: Windows Sharepoint Services Administration, Search, Timer, Tracing) -- all are already started.
- Use "stsadm -o execadmsvcjobs"
- Reset Infopath Form ID
- Publish and change Infopath Form Name
- Command "net start SPTimerV3" and "net start SPAdmin"

Tried all things above, but still can't work. Status is still stuck.

Then, I try to upload other forms, but still have the same problem.

Please help me. I'm stuck already... :((

Is there anything I can do again?

Infopath Template Deployment Locking Existing Records

We are currently using SharePoint Server 2007 and have multiple InfoPath lists configured and one workflow tasks list. We have workflows configured for these InfoPath lists using Visual Studio to design these workflows and use InfoPath forms as the main document. After using the workflow items for a while we have changed and upgraded the workflow for the last year. The issue came when we tried to upgrade to the third version we designed.

We have two InfoPath lists in SharePoint that have identical form templates. In both lists there are around 3000-3100 InfoPath forms give or take. I modified the template to accommodate some new fields and promoted additional fields but did not go over the

Silverlight-enabled WCFservice template is missing after installing Silverlight 4 Tools

It looks like after installing the Silverlight 4 tools the Silverlight-enabled WCF service template is missing.  How do I get it back?  I am using VS2010.

What are the Steps Installing Infopath Form Service on WSS 3.0 or do I need to upgrade to MOSS?

I  have configured Extranet Https Portal for our configuration. It includes some custom web-parts features in the site. My WSS 3.0 -Cenrtal Admin version is I have MOSS 2007 - Central Version Now I have designed a Infoapth form and want to publish to a library in the site.We can publish the form to a library but At client side Infopath 2007 sholud be installed in order to submit the form.It is not Browser Enabled. ( You cannot enable InfoPath Forms Services in WSS, because it is not present in WSS. Before you can enable InfoPath Forms Services, you have to install Forms Server or MOSS Enterprise.  It is not Browser enabled.  ) Infopath form services is a component of MOSS not WSS Is there any other way instead of intalling Moss 2007 can I only Install Infoapth Form services on it. Can I upgrade the WSS 3.0 to MOSS 2007 and get the Infoapth form services to the existing site without any loss of data.   I have read that while upgrading wss to moss the central admin version  should be same then only you can upgrade is this true?? what steps I need to consider ?? Guide me Thanks in Advance Harish

Updating an InfoPath Form Library Template breaks preexisting SharePoint List Views

When updating an InfoPath template (e.g. adding a new field), any views I have created on the library lose their filters and sorting, as if the columns on which they were built no longer exist.  Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, is there a solution? V/r Noelle

Cannot publish InfoPath 2010 form template to SharePoint Server 2010 RC

Hi all, I am MSFT in Vietnam. I created a SharePoint list using InfoPath 2010 RTM 64bit. After publishing it to SharePoint 2010 RC, I see an error message:  Click on button "Show Details" the message is The list schema does not match the schema of this form. Refresh the data source and publish the form again. When I create new item based on published SharePoint list, I can see plain form not browser enabled InfoPath form. I checked InfoPath Form Services, everything seems to be good. What should I do to publish SharePoint list from InfoPath 2010 to SharePoint 2010 as browser enabled form?

How to hide Revert to Template Status on the SPD Customized Pages

I have customized the wiki pages through the SharePoint Designer 2010. One of the side effects of the customized pages is, yellow status bar "The current page has been customized from its template. Revert to Template" shows up on the customized pages in the browser. I am afraid that if end users clicks on the "Revert to Template", it would reset the page to the site definition. Is there anyway we can disable this yellow status gracefully for the SPD customized pages? On the side note, does anyone know, what does "Revert to Template" does? It seems like sometime "Revert to Template" keeps the customization and sometimes it removes the customizations. Has anyone noticed? Thanks in the advance

Digital Signing of Forms (not template) changes status of form

I have a nice InfoPath Travel Request form that requires sequential digital signing.  I have the sections holding the signatures display contingent upon the prior signed section having a value of being signed.  All is working well. Now, once I publish the form to a SharePoint Form Library, I'd like to have a column showing a status such as 'Supervisor Approved', then on to 'Manager Approved' to finally 'Fully Approved'. I thought that I could create a Rule that when a section's digital signature value changes to 'signed', it could update a 'Status' field's text value.  However, when in practice, if digital signature is applied, there is no method to update the 'Status' field.  Digital signatures apply to Sections and sections don't have Rules capabilities. Other than writing code, is there a method that I can use that would change a 'Status' field value based on a section being digitaly signed?Greg Appelt

InfoPath / ActiveX error when using person selector field in Word template off SharePoint document l

I have created an out-of-the-box document library on a SharePoint 2010 site.  I left Microsoft Word Document selected as the Document Template.  I then added a person or group column and a multiple lines of text column to the document library. I then went into Library Settings --> Advanced Settings and clicked on Edit Template, opening the template in Word.  I created my template and added the two new columns to the document.  I did this using the Quick Parts --> Document Property --> [column name] feature under the Insert tab in Word.  I then saved the template back to SharePoint. Upon opening the template or creating a new document from the template, I get the following dialog box: --------------------------- Microsoft Office InfoPath --------------------------- One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either: 1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page might not display correctly. --------------------------- OK   --------------------------- I've searched around (I believe fairly extensively) and have not run into anyone else with the same issue.  Some have mentioned a similar error when creating a custom document information panel in InfoPath, and suggested lowered ActiveX security setti

Deploy infopath 2010 form template to MOSS (saved as Infopath2007 format)

I saw this post on another site and this happened to me as well.  I am trying to create a web form with controls, chose WebForms for Infopath2007 and changed the code to C# for Infopath 2007 and tried to deploy the form to the Infopath forms solution in Central Admin and was unable to do so.  any suggestions?

I have an interesting issue while deploying a VSTO enabled form today. For

some odd reason while performing stsadm -o verifyformtemplate -filename

foobar.xsn, it returned a "FatalError : The form cannot be converted because

it was designed for a later version of InfoPath Forms Services.".

Has anyone else tried deploying a InfoPath 2010 form with managed code in a

MOSS environment?? I'd hate to go back to InfoPath 2007, I love the new

ribbon. :D

"This feature installing a form template does not match the expected format" error

I'm trying to create a new SP Feature that consists of the following components -- an InfoPath form, a document library (list) where these forms will be used, and a custom Task list (that will be used in a workflow that is triggered when the form is submitted).  Each of these components was created in a DEV env and is working.  I then created my feature in Visual Studio 2008 and successfully created the WSP file.  I then (successfully) installed the WSP (I got no errors on install and all seemed well -- the "solution" shows up under Central Admin and shows as being deployed.

When I go to site settings, the feature shows up, but deactivated.  WHen I attempt to activate it, however, I get this error in the SP Logs:

infopath template on wss2.0 sharepoint site has been deleted - how to open infopath forms?

Hi All

Is there any way to open infopath forms (from a sharepoint site) if the template has been removed?

I have a case where infopath forms (xml files) have been saved to a sharepoint site, but the templates (xsn files) have been deleted.

Some users are still able to open the infopath forms and I'm guessing it is because the templates are cached on their workstations.

The problem obviously comes into play when a new user or user with a new workstation tries to open the infopath forms.

Any ideas how these files could be opened?

Stuck installing Sharepoint 2010 - Config Wizard saying Cannot connect to database master

Hi all

I have setup 2 servers in hyper-v.
SERVER-SHP = Sharepoint 2010
both running on windows server 2008 R2.
Both servers are joined to the same domain, have fixed ip addresses and can ping each other.

When I get to the part in Sharepoint 2010 setup where I'm runnng "Sharepoint Products Configuration Wizard" where I specify the database server and name and username and password I get the following error which I can't get past "Cannot connect to database master at SQL server at SERVER-SQL. The database might not exist, or the current user does not have permission to connect to it."

I have read the following link and followed it but the problem remains

I don't see where it is falling over as the username and password is the domain administrator one (have also tried the spAdmin) mentioned to setup in the above link. And it says at the notes at the top of the page that if the database (SharePoint_Co
