The trial period for this product has expired - Still Beta release

Hi All,

I was trying to access a sharepoint development (SharePoint 2010 Beta), but I started to get the following error: The trial period for this product has expired

how can I fix the error?

I have the released version of SharePoint (I work for a MS Gold Partner and we can download the Released SharePoint)...

How can I restore the SharePoint Development??? (I have developed customization and Performance Point Dashboards...)

Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks

Ivan

Can I hide the "View Product" link in the grid view when there aren't any products for the category

Hello,Suppose you create a DD web site using a database that has products and categories. The products table has a foreign key reference to the categories table, and when you look at the categoriesin the DD site, each category has a link "View Product" that you can click to see produtcs in that category. However, this link shows even if there aren't any products in the category. Can I change this? Thanks

free SP 2010 vs free SP 2010 trial

Hi.  Please excuse my ignorance. I need to set up a Sharepoint Server upon which I'll install an eval webpart written by a well known MS partner.  The webpart will connect to that partner's eval server (which I've already set up) and render BI graphics for viewing by clients of the SP server. My boss said to install the free version of SP 2010.  He said we have plenty of licenses.  I poked around and see about 4 flavors of free SP 2010 trials but nothing that looks free past the trial period.  Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. My recollection is that in the SP space, there is/was a watered down version of SP that came free with the OS license.  I already have a server available with a licensed W2008 OS installed.   I just need to find the best SP download given my marching orders.  Can somebody help and enlighten me a bit?

Trial period for this product is about to expire Search Server 2010 Express

Trial period for this product s about to expire - Express edition

2007 VHD - Workflow Setting throws "The trial period for this product has expired"

I recently downloaded the SharePoint 2007 VHD from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=67f93dcb-ada8-4db5-a47b-df17e14b2c74&displaylang=en The above link shows 5/3/2010 as Date Published.  So I am assuming that this is the new version of VHD published this year. I am able to login to this VHD and also view the default SharePoint site.  But, when I goto Workflow Setting of a List and click on NEXT button, it throws "The trial period for this product has expired" error.  This error is not written in ULS LOGS. I also noticed something strange in "WIN03_MOSS_README.htm", which is part of this download.  The Program Details section in this Readme says: The evaluation period for this virtual machine image ends @ 2/22/2011.  NO EFFORT SHOULD BE MADE TO ACTIVATE THIS IMAGE.  After 2/10/2010, the evaluation period is over and the image should be discarded.  So what exactly is the expiry date of this VHD?  Is it 22-Feb-2011 or 10-Feb-2010?  Can someone from Microsoft VHD team provide a valid response. Thanks & Regards, Kamlesh | Blog | Twitter | Posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

How do you download the free InfoPath trial?

I'd like to test InfoPath Forms Services for MOSS, however I don't have InfoPath to create and edit forms as I'm using Office 2007 Professional, which doesn't include InfoPath. On the InfoPath website, there are a variety of "Try now" links, but none of them work. From what I've read, InfoPath comes with Office 2007 Professional *Plus* or Ultimate. However, neither seem to have a free trial.

Also, Microsoft mentions that you can also use other compatible XML editors, yet I can't seem to find a list of any. Any suggestions?

I have SP foundations, why would it be asking for a fully licensed key?

The licensing information not available

Navigate to the 'Convert farm license type' page and enter a non-trial license key to convert your farm from trial to fully licensed. For more information about this rule, see "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=142627 ".

Trial version requires product code

I'm trying to install the trial version of SharePoint 2010. I went to this web site

http://sharepoint2010.microsoft.com/try-it/Pages/Trial.aspx

and download it.

But when I run the setup, it asks me to enter the product code. I wonder how I can move forward.

Thanks,

Toan.
