Why is a change to the Windows logon plug-in interface so exciting? Because with credential providers you can customize the logon experience for your users.

hi,
how to make a search txtbox that includes the search keyword and when the user clicks the search keyword disappears
thanks for the help
I have a textbox and a gridview which is bound to a table
what I want to achieve is a solution where lets say there are two records - e.g. "1. Book and 2. Red", i want a user to type in those words and the gridview shows the results as followed;
1. Book
2. Red
I have set up the sql data source and everything and my like operator is this...
LIKE '%' + @record + '%'
how can I solve this problem?
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified).
Remote connections are connected, I am not 100% on the Instance name, (how would I go about checking this?)
Also I cannot access the link to SharedServices1 - Open Shared Services Admin site (not clickable), guess it's permissions but I seem to have full site permissions, I think I need SSP-Admin to make more edits to the Search, maybe this is related :s
Both Search Servers are runnig, I have tried everything I can think of to fix this and allow the Search Centre to work.
I am running Sharepoint 2007 on SQL Server 2008.
This error started on 29 April and I cannot get rid of it...ÃÂ My search works fine, both site and people.ÃÂ AD profile import works fine.ÃÂ Full and incremantal crawls work as scheduled.ÃÂ Just that this error keeps showing up every five minutes in one of two WFE's.ÃÂ The other WFE does notÃÂ receive this error
ÃÂ
I have verified all Security Configuration/Service Accounts, verified all Services on Server/Search accounts, Stopped/Restarted all search, and verified SSP accounts.ÃÂ The last thing I did was verify there was an indexer attached to the SSP...
I set the diagnostic logging to verbose and the only thing that stood out around the time of the error was
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'AR_CacheCounters'.
SqlError: 'Invalid object name 'AR_CacheCounters'.'ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ Source: '.Net SqlClient Data Provider' Number: 208 State: 1 Class: 16 Procedure: 'proc_ar_GetCacheInvalidationCountersWithCount' LineNumber: 3 Server: 'SERVER'
Any suggestions?
