Migrating Access 2007 db to SQL Server 2005. Things go fine until it attempts to connect to SQL Server, then I get this:
"An unexpected error occurred. Please send the log file to product support.
For more information, see "Getting SSMA Assistance" in the product documentation.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I have no idea where this log file is as I'm running this on a Windows 7 machine. A search of the entire C drive yields nothing.
I'm using VIC-WIN7\SQLEXPRESS for the Server Name which is what is used in SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express.
Thank you very much
we did many large scale projetcs for international customers. Most of them use ORACLE in their database infrastructure. Hence our product must be able to use ORACLE as database backend. We are now working on extending our
product in order to enable our customers creating, managing and running business processes. We would love to have this based on Workflow Foundation 4.0.
Unfortunately Microsoft offers only interfaces that we would have to implement for using an ORACLE database backend. We think that the implementation of these interfaces should be a product on its own -- done in professional development
and providing professional support. In my opinion the acceptance of WF will depend highly on being able to support ORACLE custumers. No offense considering SQL Server, but most of our large scale customers will never agree to use a database
infrastructure other than ORACLE.
Are there any plans to provide an implementation of these interfaces for ORACLE as a product by Microsoft or another vendor?
Can anyone help me please?
I have been producing a registration form using html and asp. I have managed to get it to send an email having copied script from a previous website which someone developed for me. I now get the response going to the old address and with then old text. How can I change it all to the new site?

So below is my code that i need to use.
While I do most of our development in .net, we do have some systems in php. I was just wondering if there is any php support for VS 2010. I found vs.php 2.7, but frankly, VS is expensive enough, I don't want to have to buy something else for php support. I use eclipse right now which works fine, I just kind of wanted to consolidate my editors and only have one. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks,
When i try to do anything in webmatrix it shuts down. i get this error in the log
After some initial trouble with database editor in the beta version of Microsoft WebMatrix, I decided it would be better to create SQL scripts and run them at startup of my web-app. Perhaps the Microsoft.Data.Database helper can be extend to support similar scenarios?
Here is the code: http://www.forkcan.com/viewcode/231/DatabaseHelper-for-WebMatrix
I'm often experiencing that keyboard shortcuts stops working in WebMatrix. This is very annoying as CTRL-S, CTRL-C, CTRL-V, etc. stops working, all of which are heavily used when programming. It's obviously hard to explain how to reproduce this, but I was wondering if someone knows a quick-fix?
I am trying to deploy through webmatrix but my system Proxy server configuration is not being used. I assume that webmatrix would detect the proxy server settings and use that for the msdeploy calls under the hood. Can anyone confirm this is a know issue?
Will there be support for shorthand statements?

I am trying to retrieve xml from a small function in my .cshtml page. Its
throwing me an error. This however, runs fine in a console/form environment.
It takes 3 parameters and 1 exception.
myDll.GetXML(year, username, uniqueidentifier, out ex);
When I run this page I get the error, "Conversion failed when
converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier."
Or a stack of.
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier.

I tried reflecting into WebMatrix.exe but was unable. I'm interested on how you integrated the WPF Ribbon & the Office-style sidebar.
I am novice user to raizor syntax using webmatrix and i am trying to connect MS Sql server database (instead of using .sdf file i am using .mdf file) using the tool webmatrix for startersite.
