Problem with "Edit" and "Delete" buttons in gridview!

Hi everyone. I have problem with the buttons Edit and Delete in Gridview for very long time and i really need help about it. So i have gridview and sqldatasource. First i try to make this buttons manually and as you will see in sqldatasource 5 and 6 i have these buttons my records show up but the buttons not working. After that i was advised to do it automatically with gridview smart tag options and Generate columns - this is what i did in sqldatasource7 and gridview7. But both ways i need to change the statements with my own because that what they create not works. So select statement works. Now the error that i get in both ways is the same:The GridView 'GridView(the number could be 5,6 or 7)' fired event RowEditing which wasn't handled.See how looks my page:Now here's my code in aspx:<%@ Page Language="C#" Title="Specific Search in Phone Directory" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Default3.aspx.cs" Inherits="Default3" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="cc1" %> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head id="Head1" runat="serv

Cannot enable Ribbon Edit Tab buttons and "connect" them to a list item in my custom webpart

I have one list with some custom fields and I want to develop a custom page. So, I created an ASPX page and added my custom webpart. This webpart has just a RichTextField, in edit mode, "linked" to one item of the list, like below: SPSite _SPSite = SPContext.Current.Site; SPWeb _SPWebProjects = _SPSite.OpenWeb("/Projects"); SPList _SPListProject = _SPWebProjects.GetList("/Projects/Lists/Project"); int _ID = Convert.ToInt32(this.Page.Request.QueryString["ID"]); RichTextField _RTF = new RichTextField(); _RTF.ID = "RTF"; _RTF.ControlMode = SPControlMode.Edit; _RTF.FieldName = "History"; _RTF.ItemContext = SPContext.GetContext(HttpContext.Current, _ID, _SPListProject.ID, _SPListProject.ParentWeb); _RTF.RenderContext = SPContext.GetContext(HttpContext.Current, _ID, _SPListProject.ID, _SPListProject.ParentWeb); this.Controls.Add(_RTF);   Then, I "turned on" the edit tab on the ribbon by doing the follow: protected override void OnPreRender(EventArgs e) { SPRibbon _CurrentRibbon = SPRibbon.GetCurrent(this.Page); _CurrentRibbon.TrimById("Ribbon.WebPartPage"); _CurrentRibbon.MakeTabAvailable("Ribbon.ListForm.Edit", string.Empty); _CurrentRibbon.MakeContextualGroupInitiallyVisible("Ribbon.ListForm.Edit", string.Empty); _CurrentRibbon.Minimized = false; _CurrentRi

Problem trying to use AnimationExtender to animate some buttons

Hello there,I'm kind of an AJAX newbie. Trying to develop something that, seems to me, should be a pretty easy task. However, i'm not really sure how to accomplish it. Basically, i have to do some button menu. But, the final user wants this menu to be cool and trendy, so some animation is required. The point is that, as one of the buttons in the menu gets the mouse over, it should display an expanding animation. Also, the rest of the buttons in the panel menu should shrink and blur. As far as i know, using the toolkit animation extender i could easily make the button expand using the "OnMouseOver" tag, and the opposite "OnMouseOut" tag to restore the button state . However,  the animationExtender links the animations defined on it  to the component refered in the "TargetControlID" tag. That means f.e., if i have button1, button2, and button3, on the "OnMouseOver" tag of the animationExtender that targets button1, i cant refer to button2 and button3 to make them display an shrink animation. How could i get around this?thanks and sorry for my broken english:)

How to properly configure permissions so users can view, add, edit, and delete list items, but not w

I am trying to figure out how to properly setup security so that it can be configured at the top-level, and then inherited all the way through. Here is what I would like to do: Each user can view, add, edit, and delete list items - but, users cannot modify or delete web part pages. The only way I know how to do this is set Contribute from the top-down, and then go into each Site Pages library and set Read access. The problem is that I have 100 sites, and I was hoping there was a way I could set security at the top, and inherit downward. Rather than having to go into all 100 Site Pages library and set Read access. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.
