is there a way to make the first column of a report use the an alternating background color?
I have the background color set for the entire row however it does not work for the first column if the color is set to an expression. If I just set it to a color i.e. red it works just fine. If I insert a dummy column to the left it works just fine (but the dummy column does not work, presumably because it is first??).
In the file below only the textbox for part number does not show an alternating background. All others work correctly.
<TableRows> <TableRow> <TableCells> <TableCell> <ReportItems> <Textbox Name="PartNumber"> <rd:DefaultName>PartNumber</rd:DefaultName>
As this site, http://www.borfin.com.tr/genel/Default.aspx, How can I change the background color selected pages.
hey guy, i need help in a very troubling matter. I want to make a textbox with a specific style, within this style a set of images as background parts, how can i attach these images to the custom control as whenever i take the .dll file and add it to the toolbar the images do not appear. So i tried to make them as resource files and their property as embedded in .resx file, so how to make the css style background image url to be linked to any of those image.
thanks in advance
One of the features that distinguishes Visual Basicî from the other languages in Visual Studioî is its use of a background compiler (BC). The BC runs from the moment you start up a Visual Basic project until the time you close the last one down.

Both the .NET Framework and Windows have some very interesting APIs for creating applications that are capable of updating themselves automatically over a network. There are many advantages to writing your application to update itself like Windows Update does, including convenience for your users, from easier maintenance to network administration. Automatic updates require attention to factors such as discovery, security, and file replacement. In this article, the author covers the BITS API as well as a number of features of the .NET Framework that take care of these facets of auto-updating using the same facilities that the Windows Update uses.

I want to have the background of my masterpage (the master page for all of my .aspx pages) have a sort of gradient. I imagine the only way I can do that is with an image. Or maybe even some other design, but I want to move away from the "solid color" background.
Is the easiest way to do this just to make an image and set that as the background? What image size should I make it, because some users could possibly have the normal aspect ratio, or maybe a widescreen? What should I make it like so that it looks good on all computers?
Thanks in advance. :)
I have a panel like this. I have an image control inside this panel that I have put as a background image for the panel using the style where I adjusting the z-indexes.
This works fine!
I have put a label and a hyperlink like this in the <table>. The label can be seen but not the hyperlink which is the problem. I have tried to put a z-index to the hyperlink but that does not help.
How is it possible to see the hyperlink here also ? Thanks!
font-family: Arial, 'Microsoft Sans Serif';
<asp:Panel ID="Panel6" CssClass="stretch2" runat="server" Width="100%">
<asp:Image ID="Image16" runat="server" AlternateText="" ImageUrl="~/images/setImage.jpg"
I have changed the theme to Obsedian and I would also like to change the picture of the title bar of this theme and also the font/style of the title, top link bar, menus..etc. Is there a way to do this?
Please note: I am using WSS 3.0 and I am not the Administrator of the sharepoint. I am only the site admin of some sites on this sharepoint. I can do some basic customization using SPD.
Basically, what I am trying to do is that I want to set up a sharepoint site, however I want to make it NOT look like a sharepoint site.Well I know this is possible, but for my case it might be just partially possible due to the limitation that I am not
the Site collection admin and hence I do not have direct access to the server itself.
What I want is to hide most of the sharepoint links/menus/bars, etc and use my own buttons/hyperlinks etc .. for user to navigate on the sites.
Thanks in advance for your help/advices.
If you have a table with some rows and columns, and set the background color on the <tr>ôs like this:
Then you can see the lines that seperates the <tr>ôs and <td>ôs. Its like the borders that define the tablestructure still has its original color (or is transparent). And it looks quite ugly. How do you avoid this? Is there a way in CSS to make these borders 0 pixels wide?
I know that I can just put the background color on the table instead, but that is not a possible solution in my case.
Thanks alot :)
