Adding a custom Label on each Survey page

Hi, I created a Survey with 10 questions (Yes/No choices).  The first 5 questions are related to a specific topic and the last 5 ones to another topic.  Thus, each set of 5 questions is separated by a Page Separator.  What I'd like to do is to display a custom "Label" for each set of questions.  For example, the first set would be "2010 courses" and the second one would be "2011 courses".  I think this should be done using SP Designer but I'm not sure how. Thanks.

Survey summary and redirection to diffrent page

Hi I'm using standard survey list to gather some opinion around diffrent stuff from the users. Few days ago someone from the bussiness came to me and ask if this is possible to redirect user to some page once he submit his vote, so he will not be redirected to default "overview" page. I was trying to use "?Source={URL}" parameter to achive that but this seems to not work. Does anyone has some idea how to overcome this ? thanks in advance Mariusz Gorzoch Blog : http://mariusz.gorzoch.pl Twitter : http://twitter.com/MariuszGorzoch Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mariusz.gorzoch

Page Breaks within tablix (SSRS 2008)

page breaks seem to be a real issue in SSRS, according to the number of posts, but I haven't found a solution for my problem yet.

My report contains a tablix which is used to group the data by keys. The tablix has one column and one row, and this cell contains several subreports which get their data from another table depending on the keys of the groups. This works quite well. However, I would like to insert a page break in between the subreports. I tried inserting a rectangle with the PageBreak property set to Start and/or End, but this is ignored. Page breaks in the subreports themselves are also ignored. Having the subreports in rectangles with PageBreak property set to Start or End is ignored as well.

The only way I have found to force page breaks is cross-joining my query of the main report with a table containing page numbers, add the page number field as the last grouping in SSRS and check the "Page breaks between each instance of the group", then showing or hiding the subreports conditionally depending on the page number retrieved from the database. However, this obviously multiplies the amount of retrieved data by the number of pages and is therefore a rather slow approach.

How can I insert a page break between rows of a tablix or even within one row?

Conditional Page Breaks in SSRS

Hi Everyone,

I have two tables in a report. My dataset brings back a field called "Page" with EACH and EVERY record. If I add a group to one table and group it to "Page" and check off the insert a breakpoint between instances of a group, the one table breaks to a new page at the right time, but because the second table shows less data, if i add it to the same group, I end up with page breaks at the wrong times.

It's supposed to resemble this

problems with using jQuery for reordering groups on an ascx page

Hi all. im making a page that has its header, its footer, and its side menus all in seperate controls (ascx pages).  The reason is so i don't have to rewrite that code for every single page when only the inner content will be different.

In my Menu control there is a list of items that gets populated when the page loads from a database.  The items have an order in the database and i want to be able to reorder them by dragging and dropping.  I am using jQuery and the actual physical drag and drop is working but i am having trouble getting the new order to save in the database... atleast when it is on the ascx page.

It works when the menu is on the aspx page.

In my events.aspx page i have

<div id="contentLeft">
<asp:Repeater ID="FormGroupList" runat="server">
        <li id="<%#Eval("FormGroupID")%>" class="itemStyle">
            <a class="active" href="fields.aspx?fg=<%#Eval("SectionHeading")%>"><%#Eval("SectionHeading")%></a></li>

Can we show a line chart on multiple pages with page breaks? SSRS 2008

Hi there,

I am using SSRS 2008. I have a line chart which queries a huge dataset and shows the datapoints really close to each other that the labels and grid-lines are overlapping onto each other. http://oi54.tinypic.com/2vifrb9.jpg

Is there a way to split the chart and show it on different pages.? Thanks in Advance :)

Paging/Soft Page Breaks with Tablix Contained in an Tablix

We are attempting to make a report where a tablix is contained within an outer tablix.  As soon as the second tablix is added, the report stops adding 'soft breaks' at the end of its interactive size limits.  This is creating a report that should be 200 pages into 1 continuous page.  Does anyone know if this can be solved?

Can I customize survey page to allow anonymous reply?

As title, can I allow anonymous reply for survey page? e.g. Use Service A/C or Guest A/C.

Is it possible if I want to add a "Anonymous finish" button as http://lh5.ggpht.com/_uc-Dl5bSnZE/Sx86EiX3QiI/AAAAAAAAADc/tZ8bNWjTTg0/s912/3.jpg ?

Then user can click "Finish" or "Anonymous finish" to submit survey.

Could you please advise me is it possible or not? If yes, how can I add a "Anonymous finish" button?

Adding Titles/Headers to Survey Sections?

When using the OOTB survey web part, is it possible to add a header/title to the top of each survey page?  That is, if my survey appears on multiple screens either because I added page seperators or used branching logic, can I add some line of text at the top of those screens to help categorize the questions?  Even better would be if that header/title/category name would also appear when exporting the results to Excel.

I'm sure this could be done through developing a custom web part in VS, but want to first explore other options first.

Thanks in advance.

Extra Page Breaks When Exporting PDF

I'm running into a weird issue when exporting a report to PDF format.

The report itself is in landscape orientation and all columns fit on one page just fine. I have several categories in the report where it is grouped on. For example, there are five invoice types (A, B, C, D, E, F). The report gathers the results and groups on the invoice type.

I want the report to start a new page for each group. This works fine in Report Viewer. But when rendering in PDF, Reporting Services sticks in a blank page between each group.

If I uncheck the option for page break on each group, everything just runs together. as one big sheet and no new page for each group.

Am I missing something here?

Any help would be appreciated!

Seperate Groups Without a Page Break

I am creating a quote activity report. The report needs to have a seperate table for each quoter along with some details concerning each quoter that is not in the table. It should look like the following.

Project Manager:
Total Quote $:
Quote Count:

Table goes here that displays details concerning individual quotes for this quoter.

_______________________ A Line (Not a Page Break) _______________

I have not been able to figure out how to seperate the tables this way without a page break.

adding javascript breaks default page layout in vwd 2010

I'm putting together my first project in vwd 2010 and I'm starting with the default settings for a web form project.  I'm trying to add an external js file to a content page that inherits from the default master page.   When I add my .js file to the page, the navigation links, which normally display horizontal, desplay like a vertical list.  If I comment out the code then it displays ok.

Here's how I'm adding my file in the code behind:

    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
        if (!ClientScript.IsClientScriptBlockRegistered("getNewWord"))
            ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(this.GetType(), "getNewWord",
            "<script language=javascript src='Scripts\\getNewWord.js'>");

 The navigation markup in the master page looks like this:

            <div class="clear hideSkiplink">
                <asp:Menu ID="NavigationMenu" runat="server" CssClass="menu" EnableViewState="false" IncludeStyleBlock="false" Orientation="Horizontal">
                        <asp:MenuItem NavigateUrl="~/Home.aspx" Text="Home"/>
                        <asp:MenuItem NavigateUrl="~/About.aspx" Text="About"/>
