Navigation headings and links display in Treeview expandable collapse buttons in quick launch in Sha

Whenever i am adding Headings and Links in my sharepoint site under "Navigation", it should display in Treeview collapse expandable buttons in quick launch. How to achieve this, any suggestions please. I tried by enabling Treeview in Site settings-->Tree view, but it is not useful here(it only displays document libraries with folders in "+" or "-" symbols. I want this "+" and "-" for all items which  i am adding from Navigation.  Thanks & Regards, Neerubee

Binding the sharepoint treeview to the quick launch data source

Is there any way i can bind the sharepoint treeview navigation to the same datasource as the quick launch bar? I'm trying to create a consistent navigation structure within a 4-site deep structure so the quick launch bar is rather clunky to use, but the treeview picks up on document libraries i don't want it to (i only want it to show subsites and pages).

Quick Launch navigation and Table Of Contents Web Part multi language issues

I noticed that my multi language site have some issues in translations. The translations in breadcrumb, list and libraries are all ok, except the list names in the Quick Launch navigation and the Table Of Contents Web Part, it does not translate the names of lists and libraries......

Can anybody give me some advise? Or is this a bug?

Publishing Portal navigation Headings don't display in Global Nav.

I am having a problem displaying a 'Heading' on the Global Navigation bar, that has been manually added to the 'Navigation Editing & Sorting' section of a publishing portal sub site.

If I create a new page in the sub site it automatically appears on the Global navigation bar however when I manually enter a Heading with or without a link underneath, it won't display at all. Sites and Pages all work, it's just Headings that won't display.

I am thinking it has something to do with the default masterpage and default navigation provider.

Hoping somebody knows a workaround without having to create my own masterpage of hack the default one with SharePoint designer.

TreeView Navigation to have expand and collapse

Editing quick launch Headings

This is a sharepoint 2007 (MOSS) question.

In our quick launch menu some of the headings (displayed as a folder icon) do not need links. They are merely placeholders for the links below them.

However When I try to edit the heading I cannot remove it. When I edit the heading I remove the link & save but the change does not take affect. When I go back to the main page the quick launch still has the heading link.

This is a published site & I have performed the check out & check in correctly.

Any thoughts?

Trying to move FK links from list as columns to my navigation area.

I'm using vs2010, EF. I have a left column simular to a navigation area and I'm trying to figure out a way to display the FK links that appear at the end of a list as columns, in my navigation area.  One thought was to place a duplicate table in the navigation area and hide all the columns except for the FK links. Is there an easier way to accomplish this.

Thanks, Jeff

Managing Lists On the Quick Launch Bar In Sharepoint 2010

Hi can somebody help please.

I am using Sharepoint Foundation 2010 and I need to use the "navigate function" that you use to have in MOSS 2007.

Basically I want to be able to move lists between different sub headers on the quick launch bar. In MOSS 2007 I use to be able to go into manage site settings and choos "navigate and then move the lists up and down between the sub headers that i created on the quick launch bar.

Anyone got any ideas
