Is there any workaround involed in the infopath form when it has file upload control in it.
This is called in the xmlformview webpart of an aspx page. While submitting the form the file upload diesn't happen.
And I'm using Infopath 2007 and MOSS 2007.

Thanks in advance
I have a form with two fields labeled "Total" which are filled with the sum of other fields. I would like to represent the totals in the graph webpart in a way the lower the number the better. I would like the bar to kind of transition from Red to Green
as the number goes down. I connected the webpart to the field in my form but I am not sure what other parameters I need to represent what I want in the chart. Can anyone assist with this?
What I am trying to do is make a dashboard for people when they login the main page will have this webpart avaible to the group they belong to. As I get this working I would like to introduce other data to be presented to the employee.

I need the anonymous users to submit InfoPath List Forms via an InfoPath Form Web Part.
Currently when I go to a page with the InfoPath Form web part configured as an anonymous users I get the following error message:
Error loading the form
A form template (.xsn) file cannot be accessed. You may not have the required permissions to open the file
The list allows anonymous users permissions to add and view items
When logged in the form works fine.
I have setup the list settings for anonymous users to add items. but still the page with infopath form webpart is not opening.
InfoPath 2007 is an XML forms designer and editor, and a fully featured and integrated member of the Office family. This article takes a sneak peek at some of its new features.

I love the part of my job that lets me write code and develop software. In addition to those responsibilities, however, I manage a development organization that's working on a number of large strategic projects.

Office InfoPath 2003 is a new Microsoft Office product that lets you design your own data collection forms that, when submitted, turn the user-entered data into XML for any XML-supporting process to use. With an InfoPath solution in place, you can convert all those commonly used paper forms into Microsoft Office-based forms and end the cycle of handwriting and reentering data into your systems. Today organizations are beginning to realize the value of the mountains of data they collect every day, how hard it is to access it, and are striving to mine it effectively. InfoPath will aid in the design of effective data collection systems. Here the author shows you how to get started.

I'm exploring the usage of UpdatePanels in WebParts for MOSS 2007. The code I have so far for adding a test update panel is this:
LinkButton goButton; goButton = new LinkButton(); goButton.ID = "butGo"; goButton.Text = "Go"; goButton.Command += new CommandEventHandler(goButton_Command); goButton.Click += new EventHandler(goButton_Click); &
I need to set the Rowlimit and PageFirstRow properties of listview as parameters to Listview Webpart
And these parameters will be passed from the custom provider webpart
name of the list will be provided in custom webpart's toolpane.
and i need to save this as list content type of list defs
Please provide me the guidance on this.
I am working on sharepoint 2007 and I was editing the webpart of the software and after adding the predefined employee search table, the server has crashed while trying to access the server remotely with the following error message:
Error in / Application
However, while trying to login locally I have no problem and can easily login.
What will be the course of action in fixing this error.
Also the site is complaining of an invalid certificate even after adding an exception.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, guys! I'm building a web site for a Section 508 workgroup, and I need the site to be 100% accessible (including the administration module I'm making for the team. We're using SharePoint MOSS 2007 and I recommended using infopath to enter data into the site's database (and also to populate downloadable Microsoft Word documents). The customer claimed that InfoPath is not Section 508 compliant, which seemed odd to me because the forms can be modified to anything you want them to be (including 508 compliant).I even found this guide to making InfoPath accessible:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath/HA102146831033.aspxI'm curious if there are any caveats to making accessible forms in Infopath, or if the information I've gathered is incorrect. Thanks!Spaz
I have been struggling for a couple of days, trying to set up a decent
structure for an Infopath project using a custom workflow using Visual Studio 2008.
I had a solution with two projects:
1) Sharepoint 2007 Workflow
2) Infopath 2007 form w/code-behind.
I included the xsn, in the VS solution, but after a day or two,
something went wrong, and I lost some work. I still do not know what
happened, but I could not get my changes to persist afterthat Doing research I have read that this
stucture, using Infopath xsn, within VS does not work correctly with Source
Control. I am using VSS.
So I since made a change to the set-up so that the .xsn (form template) is separate from
Visual Studio. However, I need to leave the code-behind in VS, since I need to debug
This is my latest problem. I have been unable to attach to the correct
process, as VS generates cachse files, and who knows what else.
My question is simple. What is the supported method for debugging InfoPath
code/behind, which uses a Sharepiont Workflow?
I just also want to say that one should not have
to spend a few days just trying to setup a working development environment.
This should be trouble-free, but it is far from being so. I
I designed a form in Infopath and I published it on a SP2007 server to use in a workflow in a library. That goes fine. In the workflow I send an email message. I can use the fields from my Infopath form in the message that I create.
If the workfow is starts, Shrepoints sends me the message. But it does not use the fields from my InfoPtah form in the message in stead I see questionmarks.
Why doesn't it show the fields?
I alse saw (maybe this makes it clear) that when I let it dipslay the URL in the message, it show: http://1.portal.lucasonderwijs,
but the actual site is whithout the "1" and it should also start with https://
I have a Workflow that is using an InfoPath task form. In the "FormEvents_Loading" method event handler I have some code that needs to run each time the form is opened. I recycle the App Pool and open the form the code runs perfectly, but
if I close and try to re-open the form the code is not run at all. I can then recycle the App Pool again and on the next load the code executes just fine. The code that is supposed to be run is a very simple statement to set a field value,
so I don't think it is interfering.
Does anyone know what this might be?
I am quite new on sharepoint 2007,
i am at the moment looking for tutorial to help to understand better the concept of workflow you can associate with infopath 2007.
I would like to create aÃÂ form that the visitor of the website can fill and then submit.
once the form submitted i would like tto be able to store all the date picked up to the database sqlserver 2005 and then to be able to send a email to the administator to be kept informÃÂ of that.
the 2 tutorial i found that i found interested are http://weblog.vb-tech.com/nick/archive/2007/02/25/2207.aspxÃÂ and the microsoft one o.n the virtual lab.
So what i am looking for is any tutorial which can help me to be understand very well how to use the worklow with infopath or if you have as well some book to advice me for that i would be happy.
