Bread Crumb

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 06, 2010    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net
Hi    I had used web.sitemap to define Bread Crumb at the Top of site. Now, the Problem is that I have to define Bread Crumb like Home>CategoryName>SubCategoryName>Productname. Normal Page display is Ok eg Home>AboutUs but what about  Home>CategoryName>SubCategoryName>Productname. How can this be done? Thanks

how to display bread-crumb always starting from the root-web of the site collection, not the current

Hello all, In sharepoint 2010, the breadcrumb shown in the title area starts from the site you are currently into. Suppose my root web is Home and I have a subsite called Child1 and under this subsite I have another subsite called GrandChild1 My requirement : when I am at Home site .. currently the bread crumb shows Home .. as expected it shows Home when I am at Child1 site .. currently the bread crumb shows Child1 .. expecting it to be Home > Child1 when I am at Child1 site .. currently the bread crumb shows GrandChild1 .. expecting it to be Home > Child1 > GrandChild1   How can I achieve this ? Add Bread Crumb to Custom aspx page

I have deployed a custom aspx page as a sharepoint feature [hence this page is not present in layouts folder].
As a part of functionality, This page is accessible from sub-site. Now problem here is that the breadcrumbs are not getting displayed properly. It is getting displayed as :

TestSite > Test SubSite

Where TestSite is displayed as hyperlink but Test SubSite is not. I want bread crumbs to displayed as :

TestSite > Test SubSite > MyPage

Any Inputs

Thanx & Regards,

[Sorry for posting this on multiple forums, I have posted it on Sharepoint-Design & customization forum but din't get any reply and its really urgent .. Thnx]
