Hi, I am writing a query to display amount entered in words(for eg: if someone enters 1256, it should be displayed as twelve thousand and fifty six). Now what i thought, the query i am posting below but it is indid not a good one   create proc wordchange @input varchar(10) as begin if(len(@input)=3) begin if(substring(@input,1,1)=1) begin if(substring(@input,2,2)='01') print('One hundred and one') if(substring(@input,2,2)='02) print('One hundred and two') end end end   the above program will go on for 01 to 99 and then for number starting from 2,then 3 and so on .all the time i need to check from 01 to 99.This will be more cumbersome doing for a 4 digit number . Can anybody help me to figure out the way to solve this query in SQL server 2005.   Thanks, Rishabh
