'No information was found about this pixel format error' on image binding

I've read all the posts I could find on this error but I'm still stumped.

I have a user control with a dependency property named Image.

In the user control I have a stack panel that contains an image and I set the binding in the xaml

<Image HorizontalAlignment="Center" Margin="3,0,0,0" Width="85" Height="75" Source="{Binding ElementName=UserControl, Path=Image}"/>

In a code behind I try to set the image for an instance of this control named WeatherNB

                BitmapImage bi1 = new BitmapImage();
                bi1.UriSource = new Uri(currentImage, UriKind.Relative);
                this.WeatherNB.Image = bi1;

but I get the following error

Unhandled Exception: System.NotSupportedException: No information was found about this pixel format.

Error adding image to Rich Content Area - Missing ContentPlaceHolders

Hello forum

I've recently installed a standalone SharePoint Foundation, and it seems to be working well. But today I tried to edit a Rich Text field /SitePages/StartPage.aspx file, and it threw an exception complaining about a missing ContentPlaceHolder. So I've tried comparing the "faulty" master page to a working one, and they're identical. I've searched the master page code for the ContentPlaceHolder - it's nowhere to be found.

What I've found is, that the page that fails resides in the /_layouts directory and a master page with the same name exists there as well.

Does anyone know what I can do to make this error go away?

PS.: I haven't modified the v4.master or any other master page for that matter.

This is the stack trace:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Cannot find ContentPlaceHolder 'PlaceHolderRteDialogBody' in the master page '/_catalogs/masterpage/v4.master', verify content control's ContentPlaceHolderID attribute in the content page.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

InvalidDeploymentException error while trying to do a simple image update

At my wit's end with this one.  My original goal is to display a WrapPanel populated with UserControls.  Each control instance would display the image at some Url that was passed to it, and that image would be refreshed on a regular basis using a timer.  After reading up on the error message I was getting and being concerned that the threading involved in running a timer in a usercontrol created by my UI, a started a brand new project and kept things as simple as I could.  The error message I'm getting is as follows:

"A first chance exception of type 'System.Deployment.Application.InvalidDeploymentException' occurred in System.Deployment.dll"

It gets triggered by the line "myBitmapImage.EndInit();".

Here's the very simple XAML:

<Window x:Class="AvoidError.MainWindow"
    Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525">
    <Image x:Name=&quo

Built-in Functions - Text and Image Functions in SQL Server

Text and image functions operate on TEXT, NTEXT and IMAGE data types. These data types are deprecated with SQL Server 2005 and should be replaced by VARCHAR(MAX), NVARCHAR(MAX) and VARBINARY(MAX) when possible. Alternatively you can also consider storing large string values using XML data type. Text and image functions are nondeterministic.

Future versions of SQL Server will not support TEXT, NTEXT and IMAGE data types. Columns with TEXT / NTEXT data type do not support commonly used string functions such as LEN, LEFT, RIGHT, etc. Furthermore, due to the large size of TEXT data you''re likely to see performance issues if you store such data in the database. However, at times you can''t help but use the TEXT / NTEXT / IMAGE data types (for example when supporting 3rd party databases when you cannot change the schema) - this is when text and image functions come in handy.

Program for Format Conversion of An Image

.NET provides extensive support for image conversion. Any image can be processed from one format to another. Most common formats to which .NET have support for are .BMP, .EMF, .GIF, .ICO, .JPG, .PNG, .TIF and .WMF.

Configuring Profile Image Export in SharePoint 2010

It's no secret that I am thrilled with the new social features of SharePoint 2010. I am most excited about the new Profile Picture handling. I strongly believe that the more we can show the faces of our colleagues to one another the more connected we will feel. Clearly Microsoft feels that way as witnessed by the many features that make use of the Profile Image like the Activity Feed and Colleagues list

ASP.Net Upload Image to MS Access Database

As you learnt from the previous articles to upload image to the SQL Database in ASP.Net 2.0 and stream that image into the memory to retrieve it from the database and display it on the web page. In this article you will learn how to upload images to the MS Access database in ASP.Net 2.0

First of all create an Access Database and place it in the App_Data folder of ASP.Net web site project. Then create a table "tblImg" with the following fields:

Get pixel format, raw format, property id list and property items image in VB.net - C#.net.

n this simple article you will learn that how we can get pixel format, raw format, property id list and property items image in VB and C#.net.

Get Pixel Format:

Image consists of pixels to get the format of the pixel we have a property named pixel format. This property returns an enumeration of pixel format. This enumeration tells the pixel format.

To demonstrate make a window application. Drag one button and a picture box on form.

Now write the following code on Button click event:

IsapiModule Error 500 Issue

I am about exhausted trying to figure out this error:

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error

Description: The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.

Error Code: 0x8007007b

Notification: ExecuteRequestHandler

Module: IsapiModule

Requested URL: http://localhost:80/ReportServer

Physical Path: c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\Reporting Services\ReportServer

When I enable Failed Request Tracing Rules and view the log output I am supposing that the actual problem is in the 2nd call where there are 2 backslashes before the actual filename in the specified path:

CALL_ISAPI_EXTENSION DllName="C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\\aspnet_isapi.dll"

Handling 404 page not found with Error page

      How do i handle 404 page not found?

Inserting personal error message in ValidationSummary

I am creating a web form that requires a lot of validation. I use many of the validation control in asp.net already like RequiredFieldValidator and CompareValidator.

My Problem: after my custom validation for the value entered return an error message, and I pressed enter key when the field is empty, my custom error message is overlapped by my ValidationSummary.

Setting my custom error to visible = false on button click also does not seem to work as it requires for me to enter the value first.

This made me think, is there a way to insert my custom validation inside the ValidationSummary as an error message like for other validation control?

Thanks in advance
