Enable Disable Save Button in Winforms App

Hi, In our windows forms application we have many forms with "Save" buttons. We want to enable them only if the data in the form is changed. At the moment it is handed by adding flags to check whether the data is dirty. Is there any easy way to handle this? May be something with the famework? Thanks,CJ

I need to be able to disable a button inside a repeater control when an item in the data is <1

For example, I have an inventory table. If any one of the items is less then one, I need to disable the button. <asp:Repeater id="repeater1" <ItemTemplate> <asp:Button id=btnSize /> </ItemTemplate> </asp:Repeater>

Is there a way to conditionally enable/disable a custom action

I've created a custom action that kicks off a workflow on an item in a list.  I want the workflow to be initiated only once.  So, once it is kicked off the first time, I'd like the custom action to be disabled so others cannot start it again. Is there a way to do this in Sharepoint Designer?

Enable/Disable Buttons based on another control property

Say i have a tab control that displays data of various types, eg EditorTabViewModel (eg. code view of WYSIWYG), PreviewTabViewModel (eg. preview of WYSIWYG) both inheriting from TabViewModel . The implementation is similar to the tutorial on MSDN

I want to enable/disable buttons depending on the active tab, whether its an EditorTabViewModel or a PreviewTabViewModel and maybe based even on properties of the ViewModel?. How can I achieve this?

Button control to stop Javascript Function on slideshow

Hi everyone-

I've got this slideshow I've pieced together that fades in and fades out.  However, when pushing the Stop Button (same as the Play button) to stop on a slide, the Javascript function continues and fades out so it stops on a blank .  How can I alter this javascript function to only fade in, stop on the slide and not fade out when the stop button is pushed?

Checkbox disable/enable

I hope someone can be kind enough to help/advise me with this.

I have a web form with multiple checkboxes on it , with one of the checkboxes as the main (controlling) checkbox.  By this I mean that when this main checkbox is checked then all the other checkboxes need to be disable and when its unchecked these other checkboxes need to be enable.

I've found (plenty of) code to do this in javascript but i would really prefer to to it in vb(.net), if possible.

I hope all this makes sense to you.

Mission Impossible? Use Javascript to Disable a Multi-Line Rich Text Field

Hey Community,

Here's a tough one that I have struggled with and so far have not been able to find an answer for - how do you use Javascript to disable a multi-line rich text field.  I have customized a SP Edit form by adding a CEWP.  In the CEWP I have added the Javascript below (only a partial code sample provided) to disable several fields in the form.  The code works fine for single line text fields but it does not work for multi-line rich text fields.  Any suggestions?

<script language="javascript">
//This runs the function when the form first loads

//This locks the fields the users should not modify
function lockFields()
  var theInputTFTitle = getTagFromIdentifierAndTitle("Input","TextField","Title");
  theInputTFTitle.readOnly = true;
  theInputTFTitle.style.color = 'gray';
  //alert(" Value: " + theInputTFTitle.value);//for testing

   var theInputDDLReplyStatus = getTagFromIdentifierAndTitle("select","DropDownChoice","Reply Status");
  theInputDDLReplyStatus.disabled = true;
  //alert(" Value: " + theInputDDLReplyStatus.value);//for testing

  var theInpu

ASCX Control for Javascript

I have created an .ascx control that contains javascript functions.  I have created a Feature that allows me to deploy it to a site collection.

How do I now include that in any page in SharePoint?

I have tried the following:

<asp:Content ID="JScript1" ContentPlaceHolderID="????????" runat="server">
<MyWorkStat:MyWorkStat ID="JScript2" runat="server">

but I don't know what the ContentPlaceHolderID should be set to.

Really I looking for a way to easily inject javascript into SharePoint pages using Features that I can turn on and off. e.g. pieces of javascript that call jQuery functions.

Is there a way?

Accessing Label Control In a listview using Javascript

I have a Button and Label nested inside a ListView.

When a User clicks the button i want the Label to display a specific value eg"Pass". Of course being a Listview the Label value will be relevant to the row the button was clicked on.

I want all this to happen on client side, but i am struggling to access the Label via my Javascript??

Any suggestions and examples Would be much appreciated..
