As i know, i can set up Alert in Sharepoint, but i don't know what type of Alert i would be, sending emials or showing a message when you log in?
I have a document center and bunch of files inside. how can set alert for a specific file?
In the document center site, i can find "user alert" after clicking site setting. what i can do is just "display alerts" , what i can choose is none. i can not set up alert for this file.
could you please tell me how you set up alerts, thank you so much
