I'm attempting to resume a bookmark in an IWorkflowExtension implementation within a Workflow Service (as shown in http://msmvps.com/blogs/theproblemsolver/archive/2010/01.aspx):
Dim ias = _instance.BeginResumeBookmark(_bookmark, _resp, Nothing, Nothing)
Dim result = _instance.EndResumeBookmark(ias)
After the call to EndResumeBookmark, result is set to BookmarkResumptionResult.NotReady.
The docs for BookmarkResumptionResult Enumeration (at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.activities.bookmarkresumptionresult.aspx) say that NotReady means "The bookmark resumption was not scheduled because the runtime has not yet created
However, the AppFabricPersistenceDB System.Activities.DurableInstancing.Instances view shows the specified bookmark in ActiveBookmarks, and the System.Activities.DurableInstancing.Instances table shows the bookmark in BlockingBookmarks.
What else may be indicated by NotReady? BTW, this code was working properly before an upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2.
