System: Server 2008 R2 Ent all patched up, SharePoint 2010 Ent with 2 web applications installed and no other sites. The SharePoint Web Services Site in IIS 7.0 has a question mark on its icon. Whe I browse the site either from IIS or my PC I get a generic white Service Unavailable - HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable. All other sites including Central Administration are good.

RDL Rendering (500 Internal Server) Error at Sharepoint Integrated Reporting Service

I have a serious problem that cannot be solved by googling around the keywords below:
sharepoint, moss 2007, reporting service, ssrs 2008, rendering, internal server error, ....

The error is;

"An error occurred during client rendering. The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. "

Everything is O.K.;

* When I render the report from the REPORTSERVER (http://localhost/ReportServer)
* When the reports are scheduled to be sent by the reporting service (planned via MOSS 2007)

But if I open (render) the RDL file from the sharepoint REPORTS LIBRARY interface, all of the reports fail with that internal error message above.

It is weird also that parametrized reports are displayed without errors although the parameters are queried from a sql dataset. But I got the error when rendering the report after I've chosen a parameter  and order "apply/report"...

Possible causes how I met that error may be;

After I have installed (then uninstalled) AJAX extensions
After I have re-configured IIS Web Service Extensions list items

Possible solution alternatives I've found;

I've found a solution on MSDN replying a similar issue with an ideal cause of the error but an evreka answer but no sol

SharePoint ASPX Web Service Call Error

I have developed an ASPX page using VS2005. This page simply queries a SharePoint list through a WSS web service using CAML and takes the results and populates a DataTable and binds it to a DataView. The code works perfect using VS2005 but when I port it over to SharePoint I get the following error.Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.  To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file. Visio Services on Sharepoint error

Hello I have seen other posts regarding this problem but no real solution other than using an RTM version of Visio. When I publish Visio drawings (.vdw) to our Sharepoint 2010 server, I get the following error Visio Services was unable to load this diagram because it was published with an older version of Visio. To resolve this issue, republish this diagram with an updated version of Visio. However my version is 14.0.476.1000 (32bit) which is newer than those mentioned in the other posts. The document makes it to the server just fine and can be opened in Visio from the server but when trying to view on Sharepoint, the error above is returned. Can someone please help? Thanks Thanks

SharePoint 2010 Reporting Services Integrated-mode Error

I am running SharePoint 2010 and Reporting Services 2008 R2 SharePoint integrated-mode. I am able to browse to the reportserver site : http://DBserver/reportserver which lists my site collections and I am able to get to the document library which holds my reports. However, when I try opening a report I get the following error: Report Server has encountered a SharePoint error. (rsSharePointError) The security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again. For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors I am able to resolve that issue by going to Central Admin, Application Management, General Settings and turning Web Page Security Validation Off. But if I do that I get an error when using silverlight features like site, or list creation. Any ideas?

Windows Sharepoint Services 3 error

I am seeing a repeated error "Unknown SQL Exception 2 occurred" almost once a minute. We are running SBS 2003 SP2 and we don't really use SharePoint. If someone can tell me how to fix this issue I would appreciate it. We can disable Sharepoint features if necessary.

I am running a MOSS 2007 server in a test environment. I have been off building other aspects of the environment, but I come back today and notice that SharePoint is no longer working. Whenver I try to access it or the Central Administration area I recieve a "503: Service Unavailable" error.

I have also notice that after an IISRESET that the applications pools that are associated with the SharePoint sites (Extranet, Intranet, Sharepoint - 21075, and Central Administration fail to start on their own. I can start the manually. They are all running under the DOMAIN\Administrator account (as are ALL of the SharePoint related features. I know, I know, but that is what the requestor of this test environment requested).

Additionally the following error codes are logged (NOTE: These are translated from German):
