How to track Collapse/ Expand event of AJAX Collapsible Panel Extender to call javascript ?

I am working with AJAX Panel Collapsable panel extender.

The Panel which is to be collapsed/Expanded using AJAX panel Extender contains one custom control, containing 3 Radio buttons one of them is set checked through a javascript function when page loads. I have kept the default property of AJAX collapsable panel as Collapsable.

Script for AJAX Collapsible Panel Extender is as follow.

 <ajax:CollapsiblePanelExtender ID="cpeSOP" runat="Server" CollapseControlID="pnlCollapsable"
   CollapsedSize="0" Collapsed="True" CollapsedImage="~/public/img/arrowRightWhite.gif"
   ExpandControlID="pnlCollapsable" ExpandDirection="Vertical" ExpandedImage="~/public/img/arrowDownWhite.gif"
   ImageControlID="Image1" SuppressPostBack="true" TargetControlID="pnlSearchCriteria">

But problem is that when page loads, collapsible panel gets collapsed but it resets the radio buttons in custom control. i.e. First radio button does not get checked. Script for Collpsable panel is as follow. I want to call some javascript code when the panel is Collapsed or Expanded. Is there any way to track Coll

It sometimes sucks when logicaly one can not find an understandable reason for Asp problems or finding them out always needs a

knowledge which is not available on documentations.

Well problem here is that I use Collapsible panel extender to show a repeater inside a fixed positioned div.

what I get as a result is just header and Item template of repeater. no footer template.

even puting content of footer panel outside repeater but inside collapsible panel doesn't solve the problem.

my code is as following :

Collapsible Panel Expand Event Help

I have a series of collapsible panels on a page. Each of them contain a databound listview. I am looking for a way to prevent the massive hit to the DB on page load. I was thinking about holding the databinding until the user expands the panel. But there is no onExpanding event. Any ideas on how I can fire server side code when the panel is expanded?

Creating collapsible panel dynamically in datalist

Hey guys,Here is what I have done so far. I have a datalist to show notifications. The datalist is bound to an sqldatasource. I have tried to use a collapsible panel extender in the datalist to hide or show message, but the designer could not render the datalist because of the collapsible panel control. It gives an error "Unknown server tag asp:CollapsiblePanelExtender"here is my code<asp:DataList ID="DataList4" runat="server" Width="625px" DataSourceID="SqlDataSource1" OnItemDataBound="FormatInput"> <HeaderTemplate> <asp:Label ID="Label3" runat="server" Font-Names="Castellar" Font-Size="Large" Text="Notifications"></asp:Label> </HeaderTemplate> <ItemTemplate> <table style="width: 605px"> <tr> <td style="width: 453px"> <asp:Label ID="lbl_Username" runat="server" Text='<%# Eval("UserName") %>'></asp:Label>  <asp:Label ID="lbl_NoteType" runat="server" Text='Label'></asp:Label> : <asp:LinkButton ID="lbtn_V

Modal Popup Panel Issue possibly with z-Index

Hi, In my application I have a modal popup panel which on lower screen resolution covers the full screen (I am not able to make the panel smaller).  The control on top and bottom of the modal panel which overlap header and footer in the master page are visible but you can not set focus by clicking on them. If you scroll down so they are in the contentplaceholder then they are accessible. Any way to fix this problem? I tried setting the Z-Index very high without any success.   Thanks.

Panel Layout and Visual Studio issue - what is recommended path?

I am working with .NET 3.5 (VS 2008). In one of my tabs, I have added two panels. Each panel takes up the whole tab area (dock=full).  At any one time only one panel is visible. Depending on what the user does, one panel will be hidden while the other is visible.  My problem is that when I am in Visual Studio in the design mode, I can only see the panel that was added last.  The first panel is below that, so I can't work with the panel to add other components (buttons, labels, ect).  I tried to right-click the top panel and select "Send to back" but that does not make the bottom panel visible.  The only thing I can do is undock the top panel and move it to the side while I work on the underneath panel.

Does anyone know of a better way to access the underneath panel in design mode or if there is a more appropriate way to create stacked panels (think deck of cards).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated - Peter

Auto-complete extender and default button of a panel - Enter key issues

Hi. I have a text box with an auto-complete extender attached to it. This is in a panel. Now, I have set the default button of the panel to the submit button of the panel.

      <text box/>

Now, I find that when the auto-complete options show up and I try to select an option using the enter key, the button is pressed (triggering a postback) due to it being the defaultbutton of the panel.

I want to be able to select an aut-complete option using the enter key and yet not post back. Therefore, the enter key (when the text box is in focus) should not trigger a postback. How can I achieve this?

javascript window.history.back() issue with Modal popup extender

I have a asp.net page that has a list of items. When one of the items from the list is clicked a details page is displayed. This details page has a link button to show a popup for history of the item. The details page also has a button with text 'Back'.  The back button has onclick event set to  "javascript:window.history.back();".

This back button works fine and goes back to the first page. However when the user is on the second page and opens the pop up by clicking on the link button, the back button stop working and displays Webpage has expired message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Modal Popup Extender and an Update Panel - "Cancel" Button problem

This should be a quick "yes" answer - I am in the process of creating a very simple test, but I thought I'd ask on here too (also, so other people might be able to find the answer, if they have the same problem).

I have created a modalpopupextender that opens up a panel containing an update panel.  I have a cancel button that is tied into the MPE's [CancelControlID] property and this closes the popup when I click it.  However, if I perform a partial postback within the update panel, the cancel button no longer works.  I have found an example online that seems to imply that the cancel button (and I'm guessing, by association) and the OK button should be outside the update panel.  Does the partial postback break the buttons' client script bindings, and thus should they always be placed outside the update panel?

Collapsible gridview Issue

I have a gridview where I have added Collapsible panel extender. When I am running Its working fine for 1st Row. but when I click in 2nd row, Nothing happens. Below is code.

      <asp:GridView ID="gvGridRisk" runat="server" CssClass="tableGrid"  AutoGenerateColumns="False" AllowSorting="True"
             DataKeyNames="GridRisklName" onrowdatabound="gvGridRisk_RowDataBound"     ShowHeader="False" GridLines="None">
                 <asp:TemplateField HeaderText="Access Level" ShowHeader="False" >
                  <asp:Label ID="lblAccessLevel" runat="server" Text='<%# Bind("GridRisklName")%>'></asp:Label>
                    <asp:Panel ID="pnlAccountGroup"
