How do I access the custom headers created with System.Net.Mail?

I've created some custom headers for my emails.  I've used a breakpoint to see that they are being added to the collection correctly.  I don't understand how to access these from the email that's generated though.  I'm currently dropping the emails into a pickup directory on my local machine and viewing them with Windows Mail.  I have "view all" headers checked in Windows mail but still don't see them when I open my emails in the pick up directory.Can someone please tell me how to access the headers that I added?  Below is an example of how I did it.  I'm hoping to add things like name, address, phone... etc, and then have them visible in the email.   Is this even the correct use of custom headers? message.Headers.Add("X-Name", txtName.Text);

Hello all,I am running into an interesting scenario on my desktop.  I'm running developer edition on Windows XP Professional (9.00.3042.00 SP2 Developer Edition).  OS is autopatched via corporate policy and I saw some patches go in last week.  This machine is also a hand-me-down so I don't have a clean install of the databases on the machine but I am local admin.So, starting last week after a forced remote reboot (also a policy) I noticed a few of the databases didn't start back up.  I chalked it up to the hard shutdown and went along my merry way.  Friday however I know I shut my machine down nicely and this morning when I booted up, I was in the same state I was last Wenesday.  7 of the 18 databases on my machine came up withFCB:pen: Operating system error 32(The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.) occurred while creating or opening file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\Test.mdf'. Diagnose and correct the operating system error, and retry the operation.and it also logs  FCB:pen failed: Could not open file C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\Test.mdf for file number 1. OS error: 32(The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.).I've caught references to the auto close feature being a possible culprit, no dice as the databases in question are set to Fal

"NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" access - to which databases/actions and why?

Subquestion from the question Purpose of "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" login in SQL Server 2005 discussing removal of NT AUTHORITY\System from SysAdmin group in MS SQL Server 2005. Is my SQL Server 2008 R2 "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" login is mapped (right click on --> Properties --> User Mapping) to: user dbo for db AdvenureWorks user "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" for databases - maser - msdb - ReportServer - ReportServerTempDB But no mapping exists for databases tempdb model any manually new created database AdvenureWorks2008 AdvenureWorks2008R2 AdvenureWorksDW AdvenureWorksDW2008 AdvenureWorks2008R2 AdvenureWorksLT AdvenureWorksLT2008 AdvenureWorksLT2008R2 Why such mapping was created for AdvenureWorks but not all other sample databases and newly created databases? Why does ReportServerTempDB requires mapping but not tempdb?

Resolution Steps (there could be various causes for this error but this solution worked for me):

- Run Administrative Tools > Sharepoint Central Administration

- Go to Application Management > Sharepoint Site Management > Site Collection Administrations

- Check if your name (the person configuring sharepoint) is primary or secondary administration

Access Denied when using the ULS Log System

I was following this tutorial

But I got an access denied on this line.

 protected override void Render(System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter writer)
      using (new SPMonitoredScope("RenderMethod"))

         <strong>DiagnosticsService myULS = DiagnosticsService.Local;
         if (myULS != null)
           SPDiagnosticsCategory cat = myULS[CategoryId.Provisioning];

           myULS.WriteTrace(1, cat, TraceSeverity.Verbose, format, myULS.TypeName);
           myULS.WriteEvent(1, cat, EventSeverity.Information, format, myULS.TypeName);

System.ObjectDisposedException: Cannot access a disposed object.Object name: 'MQCacheableInfo'.

So, this issue we got quite common on my production environment. I would like to know whether can we fix this issue.

Error: 5123 CREATE FILE encountered operating system error 5A(Access denied.)

 HI ,

 This is a problem I encountered when I had to detach a database file (type .mdf):

 1) I went to the MS SQL Management Server Studi and detached my database file successfully from a connection called Workhorse.

2) I needed to place the .mdf database file into a zip file in order to put it on a remote server. I did this using Shared Portal.  This was also successful

3) However when I tried reattaching the database file, I got this error:

CREATE FILE encountered operating system error 5A(Access denied.) while attempting to open or create the physical file "C\Program Files\MSSQL Server\MSSQL\Data\<databasename>.mdf'

Q) The database file and log file (ldf) exist in the correct directory so I don't know what happened. Can any one help?

 Thanks much

Restricting access to System Databases for Windows User

Hi All,

     I was asked to provide access to windows user for only User databases in server. I added this user to db_reader role in all databases after creating login in Server. But here is the problem, this user can able to access System databases even I have n't assign any role for this login in system databases. Your response will be helpful  to fix this . Please let me know if I am missing here to understand it.

user access to system tables

I've some developers who want to be able to select from some system tables. I'm reluctant to give this in case we get any locking issues. As an alternative I'm thinking of creating views with nolock hints, and granting them access to this. e.g.

CREATE VIEW vw_sysjobs
select * FROM sysjobs WITH(NOLOCK)

Is there a better way of doing this ? Am I right to asume that locking would be a potential problem on these tables ?

System Development Life Cycle

The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a conceptual model used in project management that describes the stages involved in an information system development project from an initial feasibility study through maintenance of the completed application. Various SDLC methodologies have been developed to guide the processes involved including the waterfall model (the original SDLC method), rapid application development (RAD), joint application development (JAD), the fountain model and the spiral model. Mostly, several models are combined into some sort of hybrid methodology
