I have literally spent months researching the following topics: ADOMD.NET, XMLA, Entity Framework, WCF, WCF RIA Services, WCF Data Services. Silverlight has a million restrictions, so I can't use ADOMD.NET. There is no EF provider
for SSAS. Parsing XMLA is not an option if I wish to retain my sanity.
The Question: Can someone kindly point me toward the official,
best-practice, Microsoft architectural guidance on interoperability between (a) Silverlight and (b) SQL Server Analysis Services?
PS. Please note that I am not looking for any third-party solutions, widgets, toolkits, libraries etc. of ANY sort.
