I am converting windows form to a bitmap file using DrawToBitmap method. My code looks like this.
Dim wid As Integer = 760 ' Me.Width
Dim hgt As Integer = 780 ' Me.Height
Dim bm As New Bitmap(wid, hgt)
Me.DrawToBitmap(bm, New Rectangle(0, 0, wid, hgt))
bm.Save(CurDir() & "\sample.bmp")
This code work fine on desktop/laptop with the screen resolution 1024 x 768 or above. If I use app on a table pc – with the screen resolution is 800 x 480, the image gets cropped.
Any suggestion or alternate mode.

The timestamps that you can obtain from Windows NT are limited to a maximum resolution of 10 or 15 milliseconds, depending on the underlying hardware. At times, such as when you need to timetag frequent events, it is desirable to achieve a higher resolution. For example, what if you want to be able to contact a thread or perform some other task at intervals more frequent than 10 milliseconds? Suggested ways of achieving better resolution include using performance counters in conjunction with the sytem time to calculate smaller time increments. But using performance counters is a technique that presents its own problems. This article shows one possible way of overcoming limitations inherent in this approach.

I am using Visual Studio 2008 + Enterprise Library 4.1 + SqlServer 2008 for development. I have a fixed div which I am using as a footer in my application. the CSS code is below...Problem is that if I browse the application on 1024 x 768 pixels it works great but when i change the resolution up to 1280 x 800 pixels the image inside the div change its position. I want this to appear same on every resolution...any suggestions or workaround.
width : 783px;
I have a master page where i've defined this div and below is the HTML code.
<%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="MasterPage.master.cs" Inherits="MasterPage" %>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<head id="Head1" runat="server">
<link href="../App_Themes/style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
I have designed the SharePoint landing page with screen resolution of 1024x768. The layout is desined with 3 column. The header images are designed for fixed size for the above resolution only.
It looks good for the users having 1024x768 screen resol. But for few users who have bigger resolution like 1280x720 & wider screens, the header images still shows the same size and thus the body (three column layout) expanded. As a result there
is an empty space in the right side of the header.
Is there anyway to get the screen to resize automaticlly for all the users?
scrollViewer1.Height = Screen.PrimaryScreen.Bounds.Height / 5;
If I run this application in 15 inch monitor whether it will change the position of the control or it will give the look and feel what i expected.
If it will chnage the positioning,please suggest how to poistion the control to support all screens widths.
I do have problem with my SharePoint theme. I have actually create new theme by customized a theme from the default theme in SharePoint. I have replace with new banner and do some changes in the coding site.
After i have applied the theme to my portal, i face problem when i try to logged in using a username from Read Only group, it will appear the windows security login for 3 times before the portal can be access, unfortunately the banner are still not visible.
Sometimes, its appear, sometime it didn't.
However, when i logged in user System Account, i have no problem accessing the page without windows security login appear and the banner are there.
What am i missing, please do let me know. Thank you.
We are design page layouts for SharePoint 2010 web site using Divs. What screen resolution should we go for? 1024
* 768 or 1440 * 900?
For what screen resolution, SharePoint 2010 has been designed?
I have downloaded Phone 7 developer tools and starting to write a sample. While in Visual Studio - my laptop is crashing very frequently to blue screens.
